  1. I always book tours privately or with an established online tour vendor.  I've had great results with Viator to date.   I also book excursions that will have us back to the port no later than two hours before "all aboard" time.   That gives us shorter wait time in line to board the ship, clean up and be out on deck to watch the pier runners!

  2. You may want to go into your Cruise Planner on the Celebrity website and make advanced reservations for Anytime Dining.  I did this on our next cruise for 6:30 every night, except the first.  We are planning to purchase a Specialty Dining Package and know the first night will be in one of those restaurants.  Happy cruise dining!

  3. I like The Porch for lunch too!  My DH isn't into seafood, so we missed it on our last Reflection cruise.  I hope to convince him to try it on our next Reflection sailing!

  4. I freely admit to decorating our door with a tasteful, personalized door magnet created through Zazzle.  The name I go by is on the magnet so that our steward will call me by that name and not the legal name on my Sea Pass card.   No tacky decorations, just one or two tasteful magnets, lol!

  5. I've done the Alcoves on Equinox and Reflection on the port day rate.  It's a nice place to sit, but not much else going on up there.  The service is nice, but I admit to being bored just sitting there with a book, the fruit plate and bottled water.   There is so much else going on the ship during that time!

  6. I also use a mixture of packing cubes and just packing the suitcase.  Like many of you, the packing cubes are great for undies, bathing suits/covers, and other small items (magnets, towel bands, etc). Folding hangars are put into my Safego safe.  I stuff socks in my shoes and use the Marie Kondo method of folding clothes that optimizes suitcase space.

300 days until my next cruise....can't wait!

  7. We cruised on Reflection this past Thanksgiving.  The ship was already partially decorated for Christmas when we boarded, with more decorations up by the time we disembarked.   This was the third cruise Reflection sailed since the 600 day hiatus.  Needless to say, the crew were VERY thankful we were on board!

Having sailed this, plus another Thanksgiving cruise,  I can report you may anticipate more families of all types on board for a holiday sailing.

  8. No welcome drinks when boarding our November Reflection cruise.  However, they did have the glasses of welcome bubbly in the MDR when we entered for our Concierge Embarkation lunch.

DH loves the Black Forest martini in the Martini Bar.  I will happily drink a specialty drink from the Passport Bar before sailing and a Strawberry Fields in the World Class Bar that night!

  9. On our recent Reflection cruise, we sailed at just under 30% capacity.  MDR had seating for whatever size group you cruised with.  Buffet was served by the crew and hand hygiene highly encouraged.  Theatre seating was no issue, as most groups chose to distance themselves from others.

I can't speak highly enough about how well Celebrity managed COVID compliance!

  10. I felt totally safe on board the Reflection and in all Caribbean ports we visited.   I work in healthcare and can report COVID, the seasonal flu, pneumonia, norovirus,  and other infectious diseases do not choose locations or persons.   They are, and will continue to be, all around us.   Viruses will continually mutate.  Each of us carries the responsibility to maintain good hand hygiene, keep our hands away from our faces and stay home when sick.

I can't wait for my next cruise!

  11. We were on the Reflection November 20-27, 2021 and enjoyed Le Petit Chef!  They changed the show and menu on November 24th.  It's a much fancier menu and not really to my liking, but other foodies may love it!

  12. Froufie,

On the Reflection, the Concierge luncheon was from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.  to accommodate the later boarding times.

We had robes in our closet, but no slippers.   There were no slippers offered in the spa, either.   Hope this information helps!

  13. We sailed Concierge on the Reflection two weeks ago.   Perks on this cruise:

    • C2 cabin on the hump on Deck 12.   Larger balcony with great views.
    • Embarkation lunch in the Opus Dining Room was wonderful!   We were greeted with a free glass of champagne/mimosa and enjoyed a leisurely lunch.
    • Afternoon canapes were better than previous Concierge cruises
    • Concierge located on the same deck as our stateroom.
    • Helipad Sail-Away with champagne/mimosas on the last port day (Nassau).
    • Concierge Disembarkation lounge with coffee/tea/juice and pastries in the Opus Dining Room Deck 4.

    I love Concierge!

  15. Great review!  We were on the November 20th sailing of Reflection.   We had an awesome time!  Only 800 passengers aboard this cruise.  We were so spoiled!

DH and I had the same issue with our SeaPass cards opening our stateroom door.  It was fixed shortly after I went to the Guest Relations Desk.

I'm no fan of Murano, but have to admit our experience on this sailing was amazing!   It changed my opinion of this restaurant.   We had a much better experience on LCG, so sorry to hear about yours.

The crew continues to be delighted we are back at sea.   I loved this cruise!
