  2. I am replying only on my own experiences! On the Jewel,Sun,Pearl,Dawn,Getaway and Escape the pastries in the atrium coffee shop were not free. You pay per item. The only free coffees there that was free ,were in carafes at the far end of the counters that you could serve yourself and No,the specialty coffees were not included with any beverage package

  3. I've used multiple methods of payment on ncl cruises. What worked for me may not for others. But on one cruise,we had 3 adults each w/their own(separate) spending acct.and $300. For each cash acct was suggested. On another cruise two adults w/separate acct.and one minor w/ no charging authorization, the two adults each had to put $300. To start their acct. This last cruise with 3 adults (one is a special child ,and all of her spending is done with me in tow,so her card states no charging privileges, and the other 2 adults were on the same acct. and again only required $300. Total To open acct.

  4. January on the escape was our eighth cruise with Norwegian, there was four of us in the same cabin, 3 of us on one account and BIL on another . Drink package, dining package, gratuities , Insurance etc. prepaid. When we went to set up our account I asked how much and was towed however much you want to put down I put $200 for the three of us. Final evening of the cruise we were reimbursed cash -$1.11 additional for one of my husbands drinks, BIL put a grand total of $50 to open his account and received $50 cashback final evening. This is pretty much how it's worked every time I think it depends a lot on what's prepaid. But I would definitely make sure there was extra in the safe just in case.

  5. Have never used fcc(i'm totally clueless) so here's the deal. I receive my cruises ,discounted ,through CAS. Will The on the dawn this November.Have another booked on the pearl next November 2017. Having over 15 months before the 2017 cruise ,my husband and I decided we would gift a cruise to our children and grandchildren and spouses for those that have them(8) Plus the two of us. We were lucky enough to get the discount from CAS. They are not paid in full but I do have a heavy deposit on each of them. So would or could I benefit with the FFC credit or is that even allowed once there's a discount from CAS applied . Is there anyway for me to benefit from purchasing in November 2016 and gifting them to the kids for 2017. Help is obviously needed thanks in advance for your input

  6. I won an all expense paid cruise in 2010 paid absolutely everything including airfare and all the taxes I did have to cover the gratuities back then it was $12 a day. But uncle Sam got his part. I had never crazed before and now I'm on number nine. It was great

  7. And I was told by ncl service agent that you can't combine them and use them at the same . I questioned specifically about using the total amount for all of us to do an excursion in 1 one of the ports and was told no ,if your bill is 0 in port 1 and 250.00 in port #2 your bill would be 200.00 with( 2 )50.00 credits left . 1 for each of the other 2 ports. It's pretty difficult to find anything under $50 per person.

  9. I had never cruised before receiving a free cruise voucher from our local casino in December of 2009. Booked 1st one 10/10/2010. I'm now looking at my 8th in November, 9 th in February and 10th in dec.its a fantastic bargain and I'll continue as long as they keep sending them .the best time I've ever had.book and enjoy. You may have to pay the 18% gratuity on the drink packages.i had never had to do it before, but on the last 2 bookings I did.but was able to get in on the 3 rd and 4 th passenger for the same port fees and taxes.it makes for an absolutely wonderful family vacation.ENJOY
