Ok that works since our room is midship. It will just be a pain when we want to go to the front of the ship since we can't use the forward elevators. You are the best!! All my questions for this cruise have been answered now. Thanks!

I'll need those extra steps anyway. 😉 Thanks for the pictures! Have they been using both gangways for the ports? That would be a plus coming back to the ship.

Just curious. What do you like to do in Nassau? It's probably been 20 years since we did anything in port. We tried a few beaches but never found one we liked. Since then, we usually stay on the boat or avoid it in the itinerary. Now I have 4 upcoming cruises with stops there. I want to find something to like about it.

I guess they decided to get rid of them in a plan to bring more people to the casino? 🤷‍♀️ Who knows. This will be our first time on Freedom. We've sailed Liberty and Indy several times. Liberty has a nice card room but I think they did away with the one on Indy. I know our last cruise they let our group use tables in Windjamers in the afternoon to play cards. This trip is just Jeff and I so I was hoping to meet people in the card room. May not happen. 🙁

It looks like cabin rooms are directly above us, so that's good. We booked a GTY and haven't officially been assigned a room yet but I added our set sail pass to apple wallet and found the room number. I'm going to assume that's our room location. If you have any extra time this week, could you see if the hallway goes all the way through with access to both elevators? Or if it's blocked off near the ice rink? Maybe on one of your many walks you could take a stroll below.😉 I have googled it but come up with conflicting reports. Hope you enjoy your casino and silent disco tonight! Well I hope Andrew doesn't invade your space. Nice room! We decided to go for a window room on our Freedom voyage, so ours should look like yours with a window. What deck are you on? Ours will be on deck 2 midship. I have never stayed on that deck before. Any insights would be appreciated.

Glad to hear you didn't get the dining plan, because now I can see how this ship does with the complimentary food since that's what we will be eating. It wasn't all that great on our Oasis. But lucky you didn't have to experience it. 😜 I just can't express how excited I am to be following along this week. It's like going on a pre-cruise before the cruise! And I can't believe it's happening again either. Maybe one day will be on the same cruise again 😊

(Deja Vu) When I told him you were doing this review, he ask if I was paying you. It seems like you are always preparing us for our next adventure. I’m sure I’ll have a few questions for you before the week is up. Great job on keeping the weight down. Jeff and I have both lost weight since we saw you in Feb. We started using a fitness app too. It really does keep you accountable. But I’m like you, the cruise doesn’t count. I’m so excited to be following along!! I pray you have a wonderful, trouble free sailing! I deleted my cookies and when I went to Royal's website a small window popped up to sign-up for email promotions. I received the email right away. So far, every cruise I have looked at the promo works. I signed up on Celebrity's site also and received a promo code as well..

I just resigned up for their email promotions and they sent me a $50 promo code that actually worked for a cruise I was looking at. I won't complain about that.

This happened to me as well. I haven't received an email in two months. Before I received emails everyday with their latest sales. We had two cruises this past spring that I continually received emails beforehand regarding excursion sales, drink & dining packages, etc. We have two cruises booked in September and I haven't received anything all summer. Not that it matters. I check their site regularly. But like you, I did wonder why they stop sending emails. And for the record, all our cruises are booked with a travel agent.

Waiting for 9/30 Allure sailing also. Wondering if anyone sailing on Allure in Sept has been able to book shows yet?

I've been looking at this cruise but not wanting to book it until they update the itinerary. With only one stop, I don't want to take a chance on it switching to Nassau. Please report back when they do make a change. On our spring cruise after we received an email with the port change it took another week before they updated their website.

If you're not sure you will like deck 14, you can call and possibly have it changed to another location. Once you receive your assigned cabin # you can call and have it changed to any cabin available in the same category. I have three cruises booked with GTY rooms. One I received my assigned cabin over 300 days out. I called and had it changed to a different deck and location that I preferred but still in the same category (Balcony D4). My other two cruises are past final payment and have not been assign a cabin yet. It's not as easy to find a better location closer to your sail date, but it can still be done. Back in the spring I was able to change to a better location the week before we sailed. It all depends on what is available in your category.
