That's great to hear, I've been wondering how the other ships solo activities compare to the Ships with studios! Gaby sounds great.

From my last cruise it was music that takes me back! In particular songs that were played at Howl at the Moon as i was in there 4 nights as i loved it that much! I cant almost taste the cocktails as i listen to Hotel California and Here I go again.....

I have stayed in studios on both Epic and Getaway. The last time I didn't have a hairdryer but I think there should of been, it was no big deal as i had took my own. Its a double bed so plenty of room to store your case underneath.

There's two small wardrobes for clothes, a few shelves an a little cupboard! I had plenty of storage space and it seemed very well designed.

I loved the studio, yeah it's small but it did me for what I wanted it for. I literally just slept and showered there. You can see the bed from the shower and it's hard to shut the loo door as it's quite a small toilet, so long as you put your do not disturb light on you will be fine.

Yes you can get drinks in the studio lounge, only for a few hours during the evening meet up which is arranged by the solo host!

Great review so far. I just wanted to ask what are the differences to the layout of the Breakaway and the Getaway?

I was on the Getaway recently in a studio and there was guy who wasn't staying in a studio, he went to Guest Services and they activated his key to get access to the lounge.

Worth asking but definitely not guaranteed

I have been on two fly cruises with NCL. 1st time I went UK to Barcelona on Jet2.com and the 2nd cruise I went UK to Miami on Virgin who were amazing, British Airways on the way home were awful though as they changed my connecting flight when they didn't need to and wouldn't speak to me when I tried to see if there was a quicker way for me to get home.

Interested to read about the prebooking of howl at the moon, I was on the Getaway 4 weeks ago and never once had to make a reservation. I saw them all 4 nights they were playing as i thought they were amazing! Brandon was a real character ☺

Aren't they just, I saw them on the epic too a few years ago! Hope to see them again when I go on the Breakaway. Brandon was hilarious! Miss the howl at the moon so much!

I won't probably change my plans, I've paid upfront for my hotel after all. Would be madness to just cancel that an lose 200 euros

The spa pass can be pre purchased, not sure of the cost I'm afraid.

Its the vibe passes that have to be bought onboard, usually have to be in the 1st few groups to board to be able to get them. The vibe is a chilled out access only area near to the Haven. I think there's a pool in there but as I've never used it I can't be certain

I'm having second thoughts about having 2 days prior cruise in Venice. Seems a bit daunting having to drag my cases on a water taxi plus I dont know where I'm going.

I didn't even think to stay on the mainland. I will just have to get by with my cases.

Legally Blonde is still showing, at least it was 3 weeks ago.

My favourite entertainment was the duelling pianos in headliners, I saw them 4 times when I was onboard. 3 weeks ago it was Ben, Brandon and another guy who had just joined them, Ben was leaving to join the Breakaway though.

It's the getting from the airport to the hotel that I don't think will be as easy. Not sure I fancy those water buses but I have no choice really. 😆
