It's good to plan ahead, but you haven't sailed yet. It is possible your bag will
Show up later. It could have been delivered to the wrong room or yet to be delivered.
Good luck!! I'm sure it will turn up.

Thank you for your help!!!
We decided on Alaska late August '13 and realized all of the good cabins were taken, so instead this summer we are doing the southern Caribbean out of San Juan June '14.
As soon as they release summer '15 Alaska, we will be jumping on it. I have seen it is usually in March. Do they announce it or do they just appear?

If you book a 7 night cruise with 5 night land tour, do you get 7 or 12 cruise points for Crown and Anchor? We are thinking of Alaska for summer of '15.

I'm going to be on the Jewel this summer. I have 2 questions
1. What time is the muster drill? Want to plan dinner at Chops but be on our balcony for sail-away.
2. We will be just down the hall on 9070. How was the noise from the centrum? Could you hear music?
Thanks!!

What is your bankroll? If you are getting $950 cash when you walk on you must be a high-roller.
We bring a couple hundred bucks each and play the penny machine or blackjack. The most I ever got was a pen and a hat.

It is like shopping at a regular Coach store you would find in the mall, not an Outlet Coach. It is a pretty small store with limited selections. They do have some items that are exclusive to that store, meaning you can only get it at that store.
They did have a sale, but it was not enough of a sale for me to purchase anything.
IMHO you are better off shopping on land.

American did the same thing to us. I called today and had them change it to a 1:35 flight.

If the cabin is what is important to you, then it doesn't matter where it goes because it's what you wanted.
Who cares what others think....

Thank you for your detailed review. We are thinking of taking a cruise tour in the summer of '15.
Are meals included on the land portion? If not, what were the prices like?
Were there any excursions included in the price for the land part?

The red velvet cake at chops is to die for. Make sure you save room or get it to go.

Love the Freestyle Machines. I'm not bound to one flavor of diet...diet coke. I now can have fanta or sprite zero too!! I am also waiting for confirmation. I won't be on Jewel until June, but would love to know if it is true.

We always stay at the Embassy Suites on 17th. It may be more expensive, but it is a safe area and restaurants and grocery store are within a short walking distance.

I have never purchased a NCC before, but am thinking of it on our next cruise. How long are they good? Does it expire from date of purchase using the booking date or the cruise date?

We have never had an issue booking in board. Once we did not get the exact time we wanted, a half hour later, but we have always been able to get a table.

We always pre book for a few reasons. First you ensure that you get the excursion that you want. The most popular ones may be booked up when you get on the ship. The second reason are the lines to book on board. When I get on board, I want to eat, drink, and hit the pool, not stand in a line for hours hoping to book the excursion. I have heard that you can book them using your tv, but I have never tried it.

Ft Lauderdale hotels
in Florida Departures

The hotel does offer a shuttle, but you do have to pay for it. The Embassy is super close to the airport, so we have always taken a cab. The cab was 15 plus tip for 2 people. There were a ton of cabs waiting to take you right away. I hate waiting for a shuttle.
They also offer a shuttle to the port for 7/8 a person. We love the Embassy. Ask for a room on the east side of the building. You can see the ships in the morning before you head to the port.
