Ah yes, we have always gone ashore on turnaround days. However, since we live in Fife and have no desire to go home for the day we'll stay on the ship this time. 😉

Thank you, Tring. We've done back to back cruises on P&O but, although we've sailed with Fred before, this will be our first B2B with them so all advice is more than welcome.

Thank you for your response, twotravellerslondon, it's much appreciated. That all sounds great. Luckily, we are in the same cabin for both cruises. Did you have to go to both safety drills?

My husband and I will be on the Balmoral for the Baltic cruise this July, sailing from Rosyth, and are staying on board for the next cruise to Iceland. Does anyone know what facilities will be available to us on this turnaround day, eg for dining, relaxing etc? Also, I'm thinking we'll have access to our cabin, is that right?

We've booked the 2025 world cruise on Bolette. This will be our first cruise around the world and the bonus is that I'll spend my birthday (a big one!) on our first day in Sydney. So excited!
