  1. You are both right. As mentioned earlier it is ship dependant. Miami has no more and once the ships use up their existing supply they are gone unless they can find another supplier.
  2. That was pretty much my sons experience on our July Ovation sailing.
  3. Already announced and able to be booked. Allure is doing 3/4 day sailings from Port Canaveral from November 2023 to April 2024 Didn't read far enough ahead to see that this had been mentioned
  4. Correct. What the OP is referring to and the Chef's choice are two entirely different things
  5. They won't reveal anything that we don't know today. It will be months before Royal will know whether the ship will be done closer to their original planned date of October and they can release more sailings between then and January
  6. Book refundable rates, don't book air, and be prepared to change if you have your heart set on the inaugural
  7. The problem is that we don't know that the first cruise that they are releasing next week will actually be the first passenger cruise. I suspect there will be many disappointed people who book that first sailing thinking it's the inaugural. Kind of like it sailing from the UK.
  8. Unknown They have said the same thing in the past. sometimes its 10pm the nighty before, sometimes 3am and sometimes the next day
  9. Depends. I have seen it already loaded when bookings open and I have seen it take a few days. It depends on 2 things 1. When Royal releases the group space 2. When the travel agencies groups department block that space.
  10. I must have missed everything from Royal saying that was the inaugural.
  11. I don't think it has anything to do with ambulance chasers or they'd get rid of them entirely, just an additional space that they can create another area for a different set of guests.
  12. I bet that is not made official for another 6 months
  13. That may be the first sailing that is available to be booked but I will bet money that it is not the inaugural. I fully expect additional sailings to be released prior to that date once they firm up the delivery schedule. Just a few short weeks ago they were saying she would be ready in October. They are playing it safe as far as releasing bookings.
  14. Like the phone reps, they are some of the last to know
  15. He never said it would. He only said it would debut there for a couple of trade event sailings.
  16. That is why they have bought/developed several brands that can better cater to those differing needs.
  17. And as he mentioned in there it was only for trade events, no mention at all of revenue sailings
  18. They said debuting. I take it that meant a few media and trade event sailings and not revenue sailings.
  19. Probably the older more serious riders that it would bother more.
  20. I was actually surprised thst they never put one on CocoCay when they redid the island. Would be great for ships that didn't have one.
  21. They most likely meant "the newer Harmony" meaning Harmony is newer than Allure
  22. My prediction, and it won't be popular with many (including my wife and son) is that in the next round of big amplifications you see Royal removing a flowrider from the first 4 OA class ships and doing something else there.
  23. Exactly. I think they are playing it safe with the itinerary release so they don't end up cancelling a lot of sailings. Originally she was supposed to have been done fall of 2023 and may still be however I am sure they are factoring in potential delays. Years ago delivery dates could be much better predicted...now, with both staff and supply chain issues it is much more difficult.
