  1. I just looked again and we also received an email like that on 3/2 for our 3/12 cruise and 11/28 for our 12/11 cruise - both on Mardi Gras. I don't see one for our 8/26 Carnival Magic cruise so either I didn't get one or I was better about cleaning out my inbox than I have been lately. lol
  2. I guess this email I received on 5/15 didn't really happen?
  3. Mardi Gras, and it's not even close. 😊 But I've also liked every Carnival ship we've been on so far.
  4. I thought the low was $11.60 yesterday - did you see it lower than that?
  5. 22 years for me and before that I was on the AOL cruise boards. ☺️
  6. Just a few miles south of the port in Cocoa Beach, we like Cocoa Beach Fish Camp. They have a few gator things on the menu. Disclaimer - I don't eat gator but I do like their other food. 🙂 https://www.cbfishcampgrill.com/
  7. Woo hoo - I found your review!! 🙂 I think I remember seeing it a while back but I'm going to read it again. Thank you!
  8. Did you do a review of the Hawaii cruise?? Was it a two week RT from CA or a repositioning cruise to or from Hawaii? We had a week in Maui and a 10 day Honolulu to Vancouver booked for April 2020 but of course that never happened. 😭
  9. There are several Walgreens in the area (Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Cocoa) that have Rapid NAAT which is what we've been getting for all our cruises since August. Right now they're scheduling tests up to 3 days in advance.
  10. If Carnival can't do it, I think the info already provided below is still valid. 😉 We were able to grab a cab for the 2 mile ride home from terminal 6 (Mardi Gras) so I would think you'd be able to find one who would take you the 3 miles from there to terminal 6.

This applies to all US ports (embarkation home ports and ports-of-call) Due to state laws, we cannot sell CHEERS! until the second day of the cruise (starting at 6:00am) for voyages departing from our Texas and New York home ports. Drinks purchased on the first day of the cruise will be charged to the guest's Sail & Sign® card in the usual manner. When purchased on the second day of the cruise, guests are charged for the remaining days only (cruise duration less one day) For guests who pre-purchase CHEERS!, it will be activated upon boarding the ship (except for ships sailing from Texas and New York – activation will occur at 6:00am on the second day of the cruise). Guests are instructed to proceed to the bar, once on board, to receive a sticker which will be placed on their Sail & Sign® cards Group bookings (consisting of a minimum of 16 adults) can purchase CHEERS! prior to the cruise by contacting Group Event Planning (all adult guests in the group must purchase the program; all minors in the group must purchase Bottomless Bubbles program) For pre-purchase orders, a message card will be placed in guest’s stateroom on embarkation day referring the guests to the Casino Bar to activate the program CHEERS! is not offered on 2 day cruises, charter cruises and beverage purchases made at Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays in The Bahamas
  12. We've spent two weeks (so far) on Mardi Gras and ate in the MDR three times. We'll be back on MG in December and don't plan to go to the MDR at all. We should have skipped it after the first time. 🙂

  14. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3525 I understand there is a maximum of 15 drinks a day for the CHEERS! program. With the enhanced program, do non-alcoholic drinks count toward this total?Sodas and other applicable non-alcoholic beverages remain unlimited and will not be counted toward the 15 alcoholic beverages limit, and all other policies and procedures remain the same. Guests are expected to enjoy alcohol responsibly and staff members are trained not to serve guests who appear to be intoxicated.
  15. From what I've seen, Walgreens usually has one or the other, not both. In some areas, they have rapid NAAT and other areas have only the rapid antigen. I've never seen rapid antigen at Walgreens in Florida.
  16. I forgot to say I LOVED Teppanyaki - so much fun and the food was delicious. I'm allergic to shellfish so for our table, he cooked the filet mignon and chicken first.
  17. This has always been the case with Walgreens. We have our fifth cruise since August coming up next week and have used Walgreens every time. CVS used to allow booking about two weeks out, but Walgreens was only booking three days out. Then two or three months ago Walgreens was allowing bookings a week out and now it's back to just three days. I love the process at Walgreens - they're so quick and efficient.
  18. Fishlips is very popular with visitors! We only go there every now and then but are at Grill's at least weekly. Gator's is a chain but we do like the tiki bar so we often go there for a drink or two in the afternoons when it's time for the ships to leave port. We haven't been to Fishlips in about a year but they used to have a good happy hour with half priced apps and drinks, not sure if they still do. Our son and DIL love the Sunday brunch there and our DIL's wedding shower was upstairs at Fishlips 3 years ago.
  19. In Florida (at least in Central and East Florida) we were able to book 7 days out for the last two or three months. Prior to that it was only 3 days.
