  1. We were on the Panorama a couple weeks ago and tried the new Chef's Table. Although my husband and I enjoyed it, I wouldn't do it again for $150. We have done it several times in the past and the food choices were very similar, and several of the courses were the same as the last time we did one. I really didn't see any differences in the food. They still just offered a sparkling wine when you sat down and then one red and one white wine. The wine they offered was definitely better than the other times we did it (The white was a Decoy, and I'm sorry, I forget what the red was, but it was a good wine.) I wanted to try it because I was hoping they would do a wine pairing with each choice, which I thought would make it worth it. I had recently done a Chef's Table on Royal Caribbean, and they did a different wine pairing for each course (I think we had at least 8 different wines) and it was very enjoyable. I also can't remember the price, but it was less than $150! The service, presentation and food were all excellent, but for that price, it should include wine pairings.
  2. We are sailing right after daylight savings. So the ship time should be one hour behind Puerto Vallarta time?
  3. Hello, I was wondering for anyone who has recently been on the Panorama with the itinerary of 2 sea days, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo, sea day, whether they changed they ship time at all between Long Beach and Puerto Vallarta? I'm trying to figure out plans in Puerto Vallarta and just wanting to know the timing, whether we'll match Puerto Vallarta time, be one hour behind or two hours behind. Thanks for any help!
  4. Nybumpkin, Was just wondering if you had any tender ports, and if so how the tender process went. I will be on the Pride in a couple weeks, and I heard the tenders were a mess last year in Europe on the Pride and was hoping that it was improved this year. Thanks!
  5. I wasn't concerned about it being complicated on the ship. I just wanted to make sure I would be able to make a taco tour on time in Puerto Vallarta before I booked it. 🙂
  6. After I asked this question, I googled it and found an older cruise critic post on this from February this year. The cruise we are going on stops in Puerto Vallarta first, then Mazatlan, then Cabo. In the earlier post, they said that on Sunday night, you turn your clocks ahead one hour, which still puts you an hour behind Puerto Vallarta time, but then you are on the correct time in Mazatlan and Cabo, and then after leaving Cabo, you switch back to Long Beach time. So you only change the time once, and you're one hour behind in Puerto Vallarta instead on two. I'm hoping that is still the case, so I can make my Puerto Vallarta plans with that. Thank you for everyone's replies!
  7. Hello, We are going on the Panorama in July and I'm trying to coordinate some activities in the ports on my own. I was just wondering if the time adjusts on the ship at all between when you leave Long Beach and get to Puerto Vallarta, or if they just keep it on Long Beach time the whole cruise. Thanks so much for any information you can give me!
