Has anyone bought the rainbow chic cooler tote from the Carnival Fun Shop? It has to be pre-ordered and I'm debating whether it's worth it. Wondering if it was a decent size and how the quality was.

Thanks

This will be my moms first cruise ever (shes 72) on the inspiration and I would love to take her on a behind the scence tour, but there is no way she could make it 3hrs walking. Does anyone know if i can push her in a wheelchair to get her from point a to point b and then she can walk when we get to a specific area?

Thank you. Helped with planning

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what two nights are formal night on the 8 day Eastern Caribbean on the valor?
Also what day did they do all the towel animals on the pool deck?
Thanks in advance. 24 days to go!!!!!

Thanks for the information and pictures. We have 9198 booked on the valor for the end of september. Excited about the room, but concerned about the motion. But think our 6yr old and 1yr old will love looking out the window. Was the room noisy bc its a connecting room?

We rented a taxi for the day a few years ago and did the butterfly farms and beaches. But also did the zoo. Nothing like our zoos in the states but really cute. Our 4 yr old loved it and its fairly close to the port and you could go on your way back. I think we spent may 30-45 minutes there. It was also really cheap to get into.

We will be in St. Maartens in October and wondering what beaches we can get to using the water taxi? (We have a 1yr old and 6yr old and no car seat, so its walking or water taxi) We were going to do Great Bay but I'm reading about the pollution there and a little worried with 2 small kids.

So from the sound of it, on elegant night my husband could get away with nice dress shorts and a button down collared shirt and me a long skirt and top and still get into the MDR? We used to dress up all the time but with 2 small kids and only bringing 2 suitcase (we are flying) space is very limited for "extras"

We made reservations to go here this October. After reading the post about the water being cold, I started getting a little worried since we will have two young kids with us and they will not like a cold pool. I emailed them and this was their response about the water temperature.
Unfortunately, our pool is not heated, however October is still one of the warmer months here for us. The water temperature is normally 86 degrees F. Our cool month starts in December our water temp then drops to 79 degrees F. We do have a jacuzzi that is heated all year round at 90 degrees F.
From our experience children are so excited to play in the pool that we don't get complaints about the temperature.
Let me know if you have any other concerns.
Warm Regards

Hi
We have a reservation to come on october 4th for a day pass. The reviews for the place a great except a lot of people are saying the pool water was just way to cold to enjoy. Is the pool heated? Or will it be warm enough for small children to enjoy in October?

Hi,
Not very tech savvy, but I do have some pictures of the exact cabin mentioned. My daughter and grandchildren had that cabin (9198) for Christmas last year. Will try and see if I can post them or I can email them to you if not.
Would love to see the pictures, except I don't know how to private message you to give you my email.

I'll be in 9197 this weekend. Be back Sunday, I'll take pictures and let you know how it is!
How was your room? Where was your muster ststion? Inside, outside?

I just booked 6J scenic ocean view on the Valor in July. (room 9198) Anyone have experience with this room type? I see a balcony rail in the pictures, was wondering if people are able to walk in front of the window?
We hope the rooms are a little bigger than the regular ocean view rooms and the views are as amazing as the pictures show.
Any insight or reviews would be appreciated!
We have this exact room book on the valor as well but for our September 30th Cruise which won't help you, but will be interested in seeing what others say about the room. I hear its a great room unless there are rough seas.

You're taking your chances... Neti pots are great, but using tap water isn't.
http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm316375.htm
Well I guess I'll take my chances then if it means no more sinus infections (which i used to get about 8 a yr and have maybe had 4 in the last 10 yrs since i started using it. ) so if thats the outcome of taking chance I'm all in. I was giving MY experience of using regular water. And I have plenty of friends that use regular water and no problems.
-
I have used the netti pot for 10 yrs now a swear by it. And have been on 8 cruises and just use the water that comes out of the shower, just like I do at home. No problems.

Also if you are doing a carnival transfer from airport to port, you need to make sure they put the orange sticker on right there at the airport bc they take your luggage from the bus and give to the porters once you get to port (or at least for us they did). 2 yrs ago when we had fttf and a transfer i kept asking for the orange sticker and they acted like i was crazy and kept telling me to get it at the port. But i explained to them that once my luggage goes on the bus i dont see it again until it gets to my cabin. They agreed... So how could i put the orange sticker on at the port! Needless to say i wouldnt let them load our luggage until i got the orange sticker and had them call a supervisor to find out where they were (in a desk drawer). Now this was 2 yrs ago so hopefully they have got there act together by now.

We leave out of PC in September, assuming everyone is right and it starts in June, do I really need to worry about choosing a check in time if I have already purchased FTTF and we are taking the carnival transfer from the airport?
-
Carnival is going to staggered boarding and will eventually include all ports. They explained it to me that you will be given a check in time and you will not be allowed to enter the terminal until that time. You can arrive before that but you will have to wait in line outside. You can check in after your given time., but not before.
This information was given to me from a carnival rep. She said it has helped with the port crowding.
What if you are taking the carnival transfer from the airport, can you enter when you arrive? That was always one of the perks of taking carnival bus.
Also what if you have fttf?
We dont cruise until end of september out of port canaveral and I'm sure by then they will have the staggered boarding. We are taking the carnival transfer and have fttf.

I always e-mail the Maitre'D before sailing to request a table for 2. I have rarely had a response unless it is from a Maitre'D that we know. However, our request has been granted every time.
How far out from sailing to you email the Maitre'D? We sail the end of september and would like to request a 4 top and hopefully save some time doing it once on ship. We will have our 6yr old and 16month old

We have done the butterfly farm and the zoo. It a little zoo but it was fun to walk around and the animals and feed them. Its not like the zoos in the states. We were there in september 2014.
Carnival Magic Suite Doors
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I am sure this question has been asked before but does anyone know if the ocean suite rooms on Deck 7 doors are magnetic?
We are going on the Magic over Mother's Day 2018 and bringing my mom and my mother-in-law (their 1st crui and would like to surprise them with a door decoration but not sure if I should go with magnets or something else.
I know we were in a suite on the inspiration and the door was not magnetic. So not sure if all the suite doors are not magnetic
Thanks in advance
