  1. Well, that’s embarrassing! I know he’s in Rhode Island. I know his photos are of Rhode Island. So how come my brain didn’t pass that on to the rest of me???
  2. You got me a baby back ribs, corn on the cob, and cheesy potatoes! I want to come back as one of your grandchildren!
  3. NH beach? We got to see the sand sculptures a few years ago. Remarkable. Y’all get a lot of use out of your limited beach.
  4. That’s what my DD said about the Merlot that I had for a few years. I thought it was ok. She wouldn’t drink it.
  5. Your radishes are beautiful. A few years ago I learned how good roasted radishes are. A completely different taste! Raw or roasted, I love them.
  6. And there’s a good reason for banning feeding gators marshmallows. Gators love them and look for more. Just about every retention pond in Florida has at least one gator. Just about every subdivision in Florida has at least one retention pond. And Florida has tons of creeks with multiple gators. The good news is that they drown their victims quickly. When they reach a certain size, they are relocated. When they attack even a small dog, they are executed. No second chances. The meat ends up Gator tail on menus. Fresh gator toil is better than frozen!
  7. Well dang! That stinks! You’ll have to do the cruise again when the dredging is done. It’s well worth it!
  8. Wow! Great photo! I haven’t been on Carnival in years, but enjoyed the cruises I took, and learned about goat cheese from their yummy pizzas.
  9. Does Royal have a shore excursion like Princess for the rest of the canal? On our second partial transit an excursion was available that we took. We tendered from the ship in Gatun Lake, and were taken to a small boat with 2 decks. We sat on the open top deck. Went through the rest of the locks and into the Pacific ocean. The lock experience on a small boat is spectacular! We got to see the new locks. The whole thing was wonderful, even our lunch! We motor coached back from Panama City to reboard the ship in Colon. I hope Royal offers that trip, too.
  10. The bottom photo is why cats are so much fun. They are imaginative and enjoy investigating new things, new sensations, and they are just plain entertaining!
  11. I’ll try this again. The first version is floating around in space. I’m trying to decide if we should try Celebrity while we’re still upright. What would be the reason to sail with them? Royal has the only entertainment I enjoy. Specifically the Aqua Theater, Broadway show (Cats not so much!) and the ice show. They are different from other lines offerings and we’ve sailed on a good number of them. I usually book Jr Suites and like the extra room. I really like Park Cafe for lunches. So what it make it worthwhile to cheat and sail with Celebrity?
  12. So are her husband and boys! She’s great at giving them all kinds of experiences and takes plenty of photos. Not axe throwing, though! Colton was touring his dad’s firehouse, and Ledger was dressed for Pirate’s Day at preschool.
  13. You’re doing a great job of not letting it get you down. I spent 3 weeks in the River Garden Hebrew Home for the Aged, which has a well earned stellar reputation. I wanted to go home, but knew I was in the best place for me. And I was the shiksa (sp?) who stayed an extra night for the brisket and chopped liver dinner. I hope the healing goes well and time goes by pretty fast. You could spend days just reading on CC!
  14. My granddaughter and her husband picked dinner and axe throwing for date night. She was much better at it than he was.
  15. I just said needle because I didn’t know the proper name. It was for the 3am vampires. I think they thought I’d sleep through the blood drawing. Hope the photo doesn’t ruin anyone’s day!
