Thank you for the reply, I know it's only 25 mins away from port, I'm wondering why it's saying a six hour trip If only 3 hours at beach, does it go elsewhere?

anyone done the all inclusive beach stop in la romana with Thompson?, it's 50 pounds and a six hour trip, but only advertised as a three hour beach stop to include drinks, is it at dreams resort? Currently deciding weather to book this with Thompson or book a day pass direct with dreams for 65 dollars, work out a little more when factor in taxi but you get it from 10.30-5pm and price includes food.believe taxi 90 dollars return for van, think can hold 5 people?, anyone took taxi safely from this port to beach?

we will be on the celebration in January, we land at la romana and just wondering if Thompson have the tourist cards or do we buy on arrival?, and is there a departure tax or is this included?. As well as la romana do we need to buy any visa's for any other ports or is this included in price? Thanks

we arrive at la romana airport and are wondering to buy cigarettes on arrival or wait to on the ship, any idea of duty free prices? Thanks

hi , we are booked on the celebration and noticed on my booking the order of ports as changed, however this as not changed on there website. Not sure which is correct now, a bit of a pain as we tend to book private tours rather than Thompson excursions

Hi we will be on the thompson dream from the 11th to 25 th July if anyone wishes to share a tour to Florence /Pisa on the 14 th July. Using Rome in limo tour sharing, tour for group of 8, there is 4 spaces left, cost is 75 euros each person, roughly 55 pounds each .

Beings your first port is olbia, are you on a week or two?, looking at the ports I am happy to DIY most , except when in Livorno on the 14 th July as hoping to visit Florence /Pisa. Ideally I would like to use Rome in limo again, but would need to form a group of 8 to be worthwhile , will work out at 75 euros each person then. We used them last year for a tour to rome.

Thank you all for your replies, that's what these forums are all abt, having posted a few thousand replies myself on tripadvisor ,you always get the odd one trying to be clever lol, Toulon seems a nice DIY port to do.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply, this is the one port I believe I need to take a trip, most of other ones am happy to DIY. Wish to visit Florence /Pisa, would love to use rome in limo again after using them last year for trip into rome. However as only two of us, would need to find a further six to join us on the 14 th July to be worth while. If 8 on tour will be 75 euros each, roughly 56 pounds.

Is anyone on thompson dream and visiting this port on the 14 th July?, if so I'm thinking of a rome in limo tour share, used b4 and very good. If can get 8 people, works out at 75 euros each, roughly 56 pounds, compared to thompson trip of 77 each.

Sounds like you're havin a lovely time, enjoy :)), it's lashing down with rain here.its ages for our next cruise :(, but a few things to look forward to, including one night( nov 9 th), in your home town oxford. Talking of tight wads, we have a free pint at bell and compass, just by giving your email on the marstons website. Next big holiday is in india in jan, went to kusadasi once, and you're right plenty of hassle from the Turks lol.

I think thompson normally as a few Vatican tickets for sale on board to avoid the queues, when we booked rome in limo, we was advised to book our tickets on line before hand for the collusium and the vactican, glad we did as just walked straight in. The queues where really long for people buying tickets.
