Could the propulsion issues not be a problem on Golden but instead the reduced speed restrictions put into place in June slowing everyone down? We got a call 3 weeks from Harv and Marv that we will arrive in Juneau 1 hour late so this has been going on awhile.

Do you have to go through customs if you stop in Victoria?

Wow - I have been flowing this closely and all indications is that even with the Izipod issue they have only had to leave Nassau 30 minutes early and 1 hour late into St. T. Love how people want to call in the lawyers. Yea - that’s the solution. I’ll just enjoy my week on the Allure next Sunday away from all this BS.

Did they also tell you that there is nothing wrong with the ship?

As I expected the agent would not confirm what we have seen on CC about the center Izapod bearing issue. We'll find out next Sunday but I don't have any excursions that will be effected. 3rd time on the ship and it is our destination anyway. After 38 cruises I have seen the ports many times.

I wonder if a bearing can be repaired without dry docking?

We are on Allure next Sunday on Eastern route. Just called RCCL and was told no changes to port times next week.
