A few years ago I started with various pieces of advice. But then thread drift took over so rather than adding to that one, I am starting over.
— Please let people OFF the elevator before you start to get on
— Occupied stalls in the restrooms have red showing on the locks
— Elevator ‘dings’ tell you which way the elevator is going. One ding for up, two for down
— There are different bins for soiled towels and other trash in the restrooms. Please don’t put soiled cloth towels in the General bins
— Café al Bacio has table service and takeaway. Form a line if you want takeaway (paper cups) but if you take a seat, a server will come to you and you will be served in a china cup.
—If the stanchions are up, they aren’t ready to start serving lunch so don’t climb under them
— Don’t shout out answers in trivia or sing out answers in music trivia. Its a competition.
— no smoking inside includes e-cigarettes
— cafe al Bacio doesn’t have brewed coffee. The closest they come is Americano (espresso with hot water added)
— Some ships change to local time, some don’t, so read the daily program carefully
— If you find the door to the toilet too heavy, look for the button with the wheelchair symbol on it. Push it to have the door open for you.
— Don’t leave room service trays in the passageway because it’s hard to move scooters and housekeeping buggies past them.
— If you find a duck don’t take it to Lost and Found— either keep it or hide it somewhere else.
—Try not to let your cabin door slam behind you when entering or leaving your Stateroom
— dont use your phones in trivia even if the host forgets to tell you not to

App developers usually send out notifications/alerts (and a date) when they intend to disable older versions of their apps, apply new hardware limitations etc. This was....hey this worked yesterday and today its not working. Interesting change management methodology.
I am currently on celebrity Reflection. I have an iphonne SE. yesterday was a port day so nearly everyone was on shore. Suddenly my app would not work. I went to the ilounge desk and the staff there who were COMPLETELY UNAWARE THAT THE APP WOULD NO LONGER WORK ON THIS PHONE. They had received no notification that anything would be amiss!!! I was the first person who reported any problem. Later as people returned from shore the line for assistance was long and everyone was extremely frustrated. Luckily i had the premium package and was able to update my phone overnight. But if you didnt have that you are out of luck and the app is dead to you.

In Jan. I used my 15% spa discount in the hair salon. I just tried to book a shampoo for upcoming cruise and was told no discount on hair services. Anyone have info about this? Also, someone please direct me to the Elite Plus list as I want to examine the wording about discounts.
I think the problem is that you were trying to book for an upcoming cruise. If you are on the ship, the discount can be applied.

Celebrity has hired one poor room attendant and you are ready to leave the brand?
why hesitate to go to Guest Service?, that’s what they are there for. Continue to escalate and you should receive attention from the hotel Director.

Try the cruise technology board

Could you please change the font you use? I cannot read your post.

Imagine telling the consecutive cruisers that their cruise has been cancelled because the airport is closed?Ships sailed with as few as 300 passengers after the restart.

Freshwater lobsters are crayfish

You feel the ship’s motion most strongly, and you hear quite a bit of noise when coming into and leaving port

I doubt if they will allow you to bring a six pack of wine with you. With or without the alcohol, the limit is one 750 ml bottle per person

Why would there not be any back to back cruisers? Especially on the first and last of these four itineraries, because the ship would be coming to Iceland on the first one, and leaving it on the last one, but people have been known to book identical back to back trips to be able to enjoy different shore excursions

Where?

Yes there are desserts. Murano is pris fixe, priced not a la carte.

Their employer made the announcement public so it’s natural to wonder what it means.

Very interesting. I wonder if any long-time Celebrity staff have ever been made honorary Zeniths? They would certainly appreciate the laundry and internet perks,

My experience is difference from above. With a Premium Drink Package I never have had to sign a chit. On longer cruises and B2B the bartenders an barista get to know you and don't even ask for a card. Many other times they just ask for your room number and don't even tap your card.
Sorry this is not relevant because leisuretraveler223 does not have a beverage plan

It’s not just a question of fitting through the door. You have to get to where you can plug it in. And then turning around to get it out of the stateroom is not an easy feat. Nor is backing out, what with getting the door open.

We have been Elite for the last couple of cruises but today when I called loyalty person they couldn’t understand how I was Elite with 249 points. Did they change this recently? I am listed as Elite still but would hate to go backwards. Has anyone else had a similar situation?
There have been no recent changes. Are you a royal Caribbean reciprocal status cruiser?

We booked Beyond and "anytime dining" was full and only available was fixed at 8:30p. So it seems they do have fixed dining on this particular Edge class ship.
“Seems” is the operative word—it is an illusion. You have it on your booking but won’t when you get on board.

Sailing on a four night Reflection cruise in May 2024. Have several questions:
1. Which night is the formal night? Is there anywhere the four night main dining menus are posted?
You can try looking on the app for current sailings but realize that they may not be accurate. Do you have a sea day in the middle of the cruise? It would be the chic (formerly called formal) night.

I looked at various ships upcoming sailings and saw room service fees ranging from $0 to $12 + 20% gratuity. Don't trust the app. The $12+ was for a sailing from Ft. Lauderdale.
Good advice. The app is an unreliable source.

But what if it is additive, not a multiplier? It doesn't matter, anyway, since there is no sign of any additional levels in the plan.
Reflection balcony or Beyond ocean view?
in Celebrity Cruises

I would take the balcony on Reflection because the IV doesn’t suit in hot climates since the room steams up when the window is open
