  1. Yea we are docked at King's Wharf. Already planning to hit the Frog and Onion over there. I know that Hog Penny is one of their sister restaurants, yes?

We are definitely planning on buying the bus passes for a day or two I guess that will depend on the weather when we are there if we do two.

But I think Hamilton will be our focus for where we go to eat or something nearish by.

  2. So we are cruising to Bermuda in Sept and would like to have dinner on the island instead of the ship for the night we are there. If you had to pick one place for dinner to go to where would it be?

A view would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Edit to add I've been to Henry VIII so not there :)

  3. How would they know if the glass of wine you are carrying around the public area of the ship was uncorked in your cabin or purchased at a bar? We always pour a glass of wine in our cabin to bring to the dining room with us.

Not that I am a wine drinker but this was my exact thought upon reading that statement.

  4. There are a lot of stops but I felt that you got more then enough time for each stop. (with the exception of beach time between the Pitons but I could have spent all day there ha! ) It was very organized chaos. Such a great excursion. As far as the size goes you are with a van full of folks as your group. There are other vans that meet at a few locations but you are ultimately with your van sized group most of the time.

  5. I am looking into the snorkeling tour with Eco Tours. How did it go?

Now that I have a chance to sit and type I can better answer your question.

We had a great time with Alex of Roatan Eco Tours. He was very quick to respond to any of my emails leading up to the tour date and he was right where he said he'd be once we got off the boat. Lucky for us the tour was only the 4 of us but there was more than enough room for the 20 max that he sails with. We ended up snorkeling in 3 spots since it was just the 4 of us we opted not to take a "beach break" the snorkeling was fantastic! My husband and I are pretty strong snorkelers and my parents were not as much. One thing I can say about Alex was that my step-mother was pretty nervous and Alex literally stayed with her the whole time she was in the water. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a snorkeling tour for sure. Any other questions let me know! :)

  6. Just checking in real quick I will post something more detailed when I'm home in a few days. But Alex and Javi couldn't have been better hosts.

  7. They do a deposit for each guest (if I recall it was $10 a person) through paypal then will send you an invoice for the remaining amount about a month before your date for final payment. You'd have to email with them about cancellation questions I'm not sure.
