There is a restaurant in Old San Juan Barrachina that will hold your bags for a tip. Then there are plenty of things to do around OSJ to kill time. We did the same in February since our flight wasn't till 4 as well. Walked to one of the forts, ate lunch etc.

We had a great day with Captain Max. Highlight of our vacation :D

Sprint was ok in St Croix. It worked for sure but was a little spotty at times guess it depends on where you were on the island.

I would just try and be on before the 1st muster drill if you're not you have to go to the 2nd one that they have.

Due to a very late reply from Julian, we ended up booking Cosol tours and had a great time for less money :)

Thanks for the review! We will be on Adventure with the same itinerary on April 2nd. Question: were there 2 formal nights or 1, and do you recall which days they were on? Trying to coordinate w/ a group of 12 and possibly do mystery theatre, but everyone's worried about missing formal night.

There were two the 2nd night (St. Thomas) and 6th night (Grenada).

We were on the same cruise. Fantastic time :)

Just wondering if anyone has done a tour with Julian lately coming from the cruise ship. I had emailed him last month and was told he had availability and just needed our names for confirmation. Haven't heard anything from him since after 2 emails this past week asking about it. Looking to do the tour next week. Just wondering if I should be looking for something else to do that day or will someone be waiting for us.

Has anyone heard anything about possibly when new dates are coming after June?

We will be sailing with Captain Max next week. Very much looking forward to it. I'll report back on how it went on my return if interested.

The restaurant Barrachina has free luggage storage from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday.

Had to sign every time on the Majesty too. Really annoying when you have the package.

So we will be in St. Croix in about 2 1/2 weeks just wanted to get an idea of how much to expect for a cab ride to the Cruzan tour? Probably looking to hit Sandcastle beach afterwards. Can't wait :D

I understand. When we were there I think we were only in port from 7am to 2 or 3pm. Even with the excursion we did still have some time to explore a little around the port. I'd kinda feel the same way if I had your time frame for being there.

We did this excursion through RCI two years ago. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Both of us really had no prior experiences riding horses so it was perfect for us. For more experienced riders I could see that they might not really find it as exciting? The guides were super nice, very chatty and friendly. We found it worth the money. All a matter of opinion I guess. There was a bus ride involved but I don't recall it being THAT long. The way there seemed a little longer just due to rush hour traffic.

I ordered the DOD on the Majesty it came in fancy glass. It just came home with me ;)

I knew about this because of this board and the issue the previous sailing had before us. But man is that messed up to get this email after we cruised already.

We just got off the majesty the sailing after this with no issues at all. Crazy the difference one cruise can be to another. I was talking with one of the crew members last night and he gave me the impression these CDC inspections come at random times.

There is a Royal Caribbean building right near the port what's in that building? I'm literally looking at it from the majesty right now.

Just went to guest services again. Was told that those who had plumbing issues will get 20% off a future cruise. Everyone else will receive a letter from the corporate office stating that no further compensation will be given beyond the $25 obc.

 

People are still having issues with plumbing and the hot tubs are out of service. I do not expect this to be fixed before the next cruise and I will be curious to see if they delay the next cruise.

 

We are onboard with a group of 22 people and unfortunately because of how these issues have been handled, none of us will sail with rci again.

Is the plumbing issue on certain decks or random? Just curious since we are boarding tomorrow. I'm so disappointed how it seems they are handling all this.
