So if you prepay, say for a drinks package, does that mean that you wouldn't receive the points. Also, it says reserve, does this still mean that you have to pay in advance. I'm new to Msc, so sorry about questions.

That would be a great idea Glenndale, if people didn't have to use them to get to and fro to the cabins like I do. I have booked with a different company for next year, as they have said that I didn't have to book and adapted cabin. I also made sure they emailed me with info, in case I am ever stopped and questioned, using a scooter without an adapted cabin. Scooter girl, do RCCL relax their policy on scooters in cabins?

I have asked P&O this question every time I go on a cruise, whether I had to book an adapted cabin even if I bought a luggie or fold up scooter on board and they said yes,. I even said that it folds down like a fold away wheelchair, but they still say no, you can't book a standard cabin, must book an adapted one. I have emailed several other companies to find out their policies on this, and have had different answers back. Like Dai said, the scooters are checked and tagged before check in.

Hi Mairi,
I've booked with a TA, and have booked cruise and flights. I assume I'll be flying out on the 5th, landing and join the ship. Don't know any details regarding the flights. This is the first time I will be doing a fly cruise. I normally sail from Southampton and back. This is all very new to me.

I'm on the cruise out of Barbados next April. Also, booked flights with TA, out of gatwick. Great price for singles. Has anyone started a roll call for cruise yet?

Yes, that's what we were told. I think it was 14th may, and we booked on 9th may.

Thank you Brian, that's really great news! More to spend on on-board bubbly then!
Please let us know how you get on. We booked Britannia about 5 days before the OBC started for military in May 14, and was told we couldn't get it. We booked too early.

I'm going on 13th March for the ship visit. You'll know me, I'll be on mobility scooter. Really looking forward to it.

I went to the cruise show yesterday. Very disappointing. Wasn't as many companies as last year. And no, P&O didn't have the new brochure out. Also, there wasn't the queues at their stand as there was last year. Some other bigger companies who had their futures cruise brochures out, were very busy.

Hi Shopaholic, please come and join the roll call for your cruise. The few of us that are on there, are looking forward to the cruise. Welcome to CC.

I've just tried a quote with insurance with, and with my medical conditions, which I have not had an episode for five years, have quoted me with an £100 excess, before I start . With the company I use, I have 0 excess. It's funny how company's use the same information differently.

I used holiday extra's insurance last year. I bought it cheaper off comparative website than on P&O. And I bought it as cruise cover, so covers all things.

P&O sent emails with a link for a survey to complete. It was sent out last week.

I assume if the new brochures are not available at the cruise show, they might lose business, if the other company's have them. People might look elsewhere.

I will report back and let you know.

I'm going to the cruise show on 14th feb, so hoping next years cruises will be available there

You need to go to P&O roll calls.

I booked a cruise for next June on Britannia. I used an online TA, as I got a bigger discount than P&O were giving. I think it depends on the day.

I've just come off Oceana last Friday, after a great 2 weeks round the med. you will have a great time.

I've just come off Oceana, and the tour has gone up to £75 now. That's £5 inflation since April. And the same Captain.

Yes, I so agree Jeanlyon, my next cruise is costing £142 per night for inside cabin.

As a single, I'm not rich, but book well in advance, and save like mad to pay for it. As said before, I could not share with a stranger either. I do think some of the single supplements added on, stop a lot of singles booking.

That's unusual, the labels are normally in the back of the excursion brochure. They have been, in the ones I have received.

I had that happen when looking at a cruise on Britannia. My mistake was putting in my details and logging in. Later on in the day, I was rang by someone from P&O. He gave me a quote, but then I phoned a TA, and got a better deal, with a bigger discount off.
