Thanks! Think I'm leaning toward Hilton for dining options and sunsets. OWB 105, 107, and 109 have the best views and are the most private?

For our dates the rates are virtually identical. If they're comparable which is easier to get to/from from the ferry (an advantage after the long trip), which is closest to affordable dining options, and which has the better views?

We're booked at Le Meridien Tahiti in OWB for 3 nts pre-cruise. We're after beauty, quiet, and relaxation. After reading some recent Trip Advisor reviews I am re-thinking things.

We will arrive at 10pm so we can't go to Moorea that night so would have to stay 1 nt Papeete then transfer to Moorea then back to Papeete for cruise. That means we'd convert 1 "OWB relax day" to be "check out-transfer-check in then check out-transfer" days.

Are the Le Meridien Tahiti and their OWBs nice for a quality 3-day stay? Are the extra hassles to do Moorea for a day less worth it?

My wife of 38 years and I are on the Grand 10-day Alaska out of SFO in July. Read you did the Bon Voyage Experience so a few questions… What time was lunch? Which dining room? Did you order off the std menu?

Also, what were the MUTS they played? Was it too cold to watch them in the eve?
