Where is the best place to get free internet while in port? We will be in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.

If you want to handle all your luggage do you have to leave early or can you go at a later time. We are not in a hurry to get off as we live just outside of Vancouver and are being picked up. I am not a fan of leaving my luggage outside the door at night and was wanting to handle it ourselves. Never having been on a HAL ship I am not sure of their procedures. You actually pick your time, that's different always had it picked for me and come back to the room to having luggage tags of the bed.

I've been looking for this excursion and can't find it. Perhaps sold out as we leave in 15 days, but I have been looking for quite awhile. Where would it be?

I notice on my boarding pass there is a disembark time of 8:30. Is this the same for all and then we actually get a proper time for disembarkation when on the ship? Trying to figure out what time I should tell my husband to pick us up at the port.

Can't wait for more. I certainly hope all works out smooth sailing from here on in. We leave in 3 weeks on the same cruise.

Embarkation day is cheapest and for what I want you can book as early as 11:30. But what if my embarkation is at like 1:30 or some such. I don't know what times embarkation are as I am a first time HAL cruiser. However I just checked prices and they have dropped for every day. Probably just go day 2 now, not much difference.

I am wishing to take advantage of the cheaper price of spa treatments on embarkation day. How can you book in advance if you don't know your embarkation time? If I was to book one do you think they would automatically give us an earlier time to get on the ship? TIA

Great review. We are first time HAL cruisers later this year, but not first time cruisers. I am looking forward to comparing to Princess as we did Alaska with them in 2019. You make me feel quite good about our choice to try HAL.

Thank you very much for your response. When I cruised on Princess pre covid I know that we were on in no time. First on after suite guests etc. The rest of the room after us. I was hoping it would be that way. I don't use a scooter (Yet) only a walker. The walking isn't that hard for me it is the standing still in one place for more than a minute without being able to sit that is the problem. Thanks again. Glad you made it home safe and sound.

As I am travelling with my adult daughter how would the onboard account work? Would there be two seperate ones or are we going to have to keep track and sort it out ourselves? Also would there only be one bag or two or are they only for people who have travelled on HAL before?
