Hi,
We have just booked for Brilliance early July. We've checked the weather and it looks good, but not sure if this is usual. Has anyone been at that time and can offer advice please on what to pack or anything else about Brilliance or the Baltic... Thanks

Hi,
We like a little ' flutter ' and are hoping to visit the casino on the IOTS. But we wondered what the minimum stake is on roulette.
Whist it may be higher in the evening we were hoping there might be a low table during the day. We've just come back from Malta where there is a 1/2 euro chip some of the time, so is there a 50c minimum on RC ?, obviously we don't just bet 50c but it makes it possible to be at the table longer if chips last longer LOL ;)
Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I thought that would be the case but was a bit greedy I suppose. Will give it some thought as it is very tempting. Seems we've caught the bug before even our first cruise :), great advice and info on here, thanks to all.

Hi,
We are booked for next November , transatlantic on the Indy, our first cruise..we have heard that there may be an opportunity whilst on board to either book another cruise or register for 'future cruise credit' with OBC etc.
My question is, we have also been looking at cruises for 2015 ( couldn't resist :) ) on the new Anthem of The Seas which looks fabulous and are very tempted to book soon, but could we have any OBC, future cruise credit etc applied retrospectively to any booking after our November cruise ?. it seems a shame if we have to miss out as the cruise itself would be after the November cruise of course.
Many thanks for any input or advice.

Thanks for the replies, lots of interesting ideas there lets hope RC takes some of them up ;)
Jo24, yes, will be heading over to the roll call soon. Everyone seems friendly on here, really looking forward to the cruise, in the meantime we are ' lurking ' as it seems to be called and picking up lots of useful tips.
Thanks to all again. ;)

Hi,
We are booked on the transatlantic crossing on Indy in November. It will be our first cruise and we are enjoying every bit of the planning so a quick thank you to everyone here as we are picking up loads of great advice as we go.
We just wanted to ask everyones opinion as we didn't realise this will be Indy's last cruise whilst based in Southampton. :(. Are there any advantages or disadvantages in being on the last cruise ? sort of the end of an era so to speak, although we know it will still be possible to cruise on her from wherever she will be based.
We are just glad we are booked now as the Indy seems to have a special place place in cruisers hearts.
Thanks

Thanks mamaza, all sounds good to me, will give the replenish a thought, we've plenty of time to decide though as we are not sailing until November. Lots to think about and plan though, can't wait ( but will have to :( ).

Thanks truffles2, lucky you to be in the CL. Let's hope we all meet up there one day, this is our first cruise but from all we have been reading it won't be the last :).

Thanks truffles2, any idea what lattes cost too please.:)

Hi,
We have just booked for the Independence of The Seas and were wondering about the speciality coffees as well. Please does anyone know the cost of lattes and fresh orange juice ?, as we were considering whether a replenish package is worth it for us.
Really enjoying reading the posts, hope to be able to help in return once we have some first hand experience :)
Thanks
What clothes for the Baltic in July please

Hi,
Thanks essexlass2 and GaryT-UK, I was surprised at the weather forecast, as like you I imagined the weather would be a bit cool even in the Summer.
Good to know it should be warm. Will do as you suggest and take layers.
This will be our first cruise, only booked today, we are booked for the Independence in November and that would have been our first but decided to go for this as it seems a long time until November :)
Will be searching the forums for advice, trying not to ask obvious questions
