Looks like last minute upgrades may be happening more often. We sail tomorrow on Mariner. When we left for the airport this morning we hadn’t heard so I assumed I would get my denial today but instead by the time we landed we got an upgrade that two days ago showed “unavailable “ I had a lower category showing pending so if I got one I expect that. Nice surprise for us!

Also watch the actual price not the % off. Often it will say a different percent off when the price stays the same. You can always buy it when you are happy with the price then if it drops you can cancel and rebook.

For us twice it was $30 cheaper before the third time we got it it was the same price if you purchased it the first two days as online before. I have not seen it cheaper onboard.

My experience three times has been I get the refreshment he gets unlimited no questions asked. I don't drink but was asked if I would like something pay as you go from our waiter who knew I had refreshment so it may vary ship to ship?

We did a 2pm flight and would have made a noon flight but everything went perfectly. There is a bridge you have to cross and I have heard if there is an accident you could be delayed hours. Also depending on the time of year fog can be an issue. Once we had no fog the second time we did. We made it in just before the fog but then driving the bridge was a bit slow.

We have been able to have one with Deluxe and one with Refeshment package. We did have to call in and ask for it to be done you can not do it online. Children are not required to have a package. Sharing even with children is not allowed under the rules.

Is there an actual price for the Oasis of the Seas one week cruise, unlimited drink package?

 

Our price has been up and down but as of today total price for two  on a 7 night Oasis cruise in Dec 2020 is $975. The price changes often I have seen the $72/day today it shows $59/day

Has anyone done the 2 bedroom owners suite on Radiance? I am seeing different pictures on each site. Also seeing these cabins called different things too. Looking at booking one of these cabins so we would like current info if possible. Pictures would be an awesome bonus!

Yes and at least in Tampa in Feb it had to be in carry on. They were telling everyone to put it in carry on as we were dropping luggage off.

It's interesting how different people see things differently. We were on Rhapsody in February and didn't notice anything in disrepair. However we didn't love the layout.Our first cruise was on Enchantment our last few cruises were on Liberty and we missed the Promenade and people watching. The staff on Rhapsody was top notch and any day at sea is a good day.

Interesting our Mariner 1/2020 cruise is currently $52. Our Oasis 12/2020 is $79. We won't have kids with us so no plans for the water park but it will be interesting to see what the price does.

For us it would have to be a lot. We have only booked once with a TA but twice there was a price drop and we couldn't get a hold of the TA so no drop for us. I didn't feel she did anything to help we haven't had any problems booking ourselves if we did I would consider a TA again.

It will likely depend on the ship, ours didn't have a flowrider but my daughter was 12 our whole cruise and I just signed for her to do the rock wall and she did it with her 16 & 17yr old brothers without us around. We were even told by staff once we signed she was good to go. 

I have a different last name than my kids. They have been twice in the last few years. I did have a notarized letter from dad. Once I was asked for it once I was not.

It's either a glitch or only available on some sailings. I did a mock booking for my Dec 2020 Oasis and it is still there.

I booked a Dec 2020 7 night cruise in mid Jan and it was there. Not until the very end on the payment page if I remember correctly.

For our 2/2/2019 cruise we received the email one of the first days of the program in late Nov. Our bid was accepted Jan 3 and by Monday Jan 7 our cruise showed sold out completely but the week before seemed to have many cabins available.

We did cave tubing and zip lining with buttsup.com. it was exactly the same tour as offered by our cruise but we were in a 14 seater mini bus and arrived before the cruise coaches,  our tubes were already at the river we didn't have to carry them 20 minutes like the cruise groups. We had no queueing at the zip line and moved from each station with no queues. The cruise groups queued from one station to the next. we are in our 50s but had great fun so well done butts up. So in case anyone else wonders, just do a mock booking of an excursion add both people and before you pay it did all show up.

That's what I assumed but I called today to verify and the guy said there was only $50 left total for both of us. I have emails showing all of it so I am just going to print them and if it's wrong when we get onboard I will show them what I have and go from there.

Anyone ever had a problem with the OBC being the wrong amount? I bought $100 obc with points but only $50 is showing. I have been on hold with Royal for 20 min but I wonder if it's them or BOA? We leave Sat so I don't have a lot of time to get this fixed.

Guessing those itineraries haven't been released yet. More are expected Feb/March.

We did the opposite we did IAH to our hotel in Galveston Jan 2018 and it was $65 for 3 of us. After the cruise, we did the port to Texas City car rental and that was $22. Both with Uber hopefully you get newer and exact rates. I have also found if you go on to Uber on a Sat or Sunday morning at the time you would be looking you can do a kind of "mock" booking and get a better idea of the cost.

We were planning to cave tube in early February but now are worried about the water being too cold? Has anyone been during this time of year? For adults ( my kids always loved cold water) is it miserable or is the water ok?

I logged on and noticed a new room number. For my husband's job he has to send all out of the country travel info in so I was gathering everything and saw it had changed. I did NOT get a email from Royal so it may have just happened.
