If you aren't looking for all inclusive we really enjoyed Paradise Beach. You have to take a taxi which are safe to do. It was $3/person to get in, they do ask you spend at least $10/person on food. They have inflatables for an extra charge if your kids like that. The $3 get you in and a chair on the beach or by the pool. They also have really clean bathrooms and changing rooms. You can find other reviews online and more info on their website.

We were on Liberty 10/16 and it was horrible. We were bak on Liberty 1/18 and it was much better. Not gourmet but I would say above Dominos but not as good as Papa Johns.

I highly recommend Native Choice. They are a local company with great reviews. We went to Chacchoben Ruins through them and had a great day. We were back with lots of time left to shop near the port.

We are on the Liberty in April and fly into Hobby the day before. Since we get in late in the day we are staying near the airport. I was planning on using Uber to get to the Port (4 of us). Anyone ever had problems with getting an Uber to and from the Port?
We flew in Jan 13th took Uber from IAH to a hotel in Galveston Sat at 4pm cost was $75 then we took it again Jan 21 when we got back but only to Texas City so we could get a car a budget since we had a 9:30pm flight That one was $23. Both times they were there quick, we had no issues. If anyone does stay on the island and wants to explore but doesn't have a car the Galveston trolley's were really fun and just $1 per adult each way. It can take a while to get there but the drivers we had were all very nice! Plus you can't beat $4 round trip to the strand.

We only had the cheese rolls twice on our Liberty cruise a few weeks ago. I should have asked I may have gotten them every night.....then again it's probably a good thing I wouldn't have eaten my dinner. Love those rolls!!

Booking that way actually makes it easier if only one drinks. The one who does can get the package the child doesn't need a package and the spouse in the other room is not required to but the package because they are in a different room.

We had 7408 on Liberty Jan 14-21 2018 so same balcony opposite side. We had two fabric loungers, 2 fabric chairs, and two tables with tons of space left. The space below in front of the deck 6 balconies has been painted tan and is not accessible to anyone. Our room had a pullman no sleeper sofa. Sorry couldn't get the picture to upload

Those are all magnets. Some are magnetic hooks some small magnets and some are magnetic clips. We got them at Walmart in the office section.

We have only booked with a TA once it was a group cruise so it was our only option to be in the activities. I called 2 or 3 times with questions and it always took over 24 hours to get a response. Maybe because she knew we couldn't change but either way I prefer to book direct so I can call for price changes and get an answer Now not when they get time.
-
It started a few months ago. For suites it is the only option for other rooms it is optional for now anyway.

You can get the lower price as long as you don't change the ship or date there is no penalty.

There were a few last week but the one that made me laugh the most was the number of people getting 6+ tickets to the one per person raffle for the 2/$20 t-shirts. I guess they really NEEDED t-shirts.

We love our Cariloha sheets we have had them for 4 years. We bought another set online when they ran a 30% off sale. Cariloha say they have a lifetime guarantee of they rip or get hole they will replace them. We haven't had to so I have no idea how that works.

Depends on the TA we have booked most without and only one with. On that one anytime we had a question it took at least 24 hours for her to call or email back. If I had found a price decrease it would have been too late. I saw zero reason to use one so unless they have something to offer I wouldn't use one again. I do lots of research I actually enjoy it so I prefer to change things now if I want not when I can get ahold of someone.

I had purchased the Refreshment package for myself and my teen back in the summer. With in the last month after the change I was able to call in and add the alcohol for my husband only. The didn't even ask about me buying the higher package. I said I was calling to buy him a package and they added it no questions asked.

We have been on three cruises. We have had port changes on two of the three. Once we were notified as we boarded the other was during the cruise. Things happen there was really no way they could know 30 days in advance how quickly these islands could be back up and running. The person who told you that was definitely wrong. I had seen posted many time by Royal Caribbean they were posting as far in advance as possible and they time frame was 2-3 days. Many people didn't even know their cruise was cancelled until the day of. It's tough to have changes in plans but weather happens. Maybe a land based vacation would be a better fit then the only thing you would have to worry about is airlines and that can be another whole set of changes.

It will include any pictures of those in your cabin plus any of your minor children and any pictures any of you are in. If there are others you want individual pictures of you can buy them individually. I think there is a discount for multiple cabins but I have never used it and I'm not positive they still do that. The price can vary by ship and sail date. Our Jan 2018 cruise on Liberty is showing $210/cabin right now.

The Fun Shops online has purified water 12 pack (16.9 fluid oz. bottles) for $4.50
The beverage package is only $8.50 daily that includes bottled water and thats less money than the refreshment. package I think?
It's the soda only package that is $8.50 a day. The refreshment is the lowest that includes bottled water and it is usually $26/day but can offend be found for $19/day. That is still a lot to pay if you only want bottled water.

I called in today to purchase for my husband. The rep didn't even mention me having to have it. I did purchase the refreshment package for my daughter and myself almost two months ago but I didn't even have to ask for an exception.

I agree with calling. I saw a drop of around $100 last week for our Jan 2018 sailing so I called on it. The lady says I can actually do $340 less if you want that rate instead I asked if there was any difference and make sure I keep my room she just said nothing else would change. I have no idea what rate she gave me but I have the confirmation and my cruise is paid off so I will take it!

The thing too is while much of these islands are damaged there are some that weren't as bad. You can see that they are fixing them fast. Take Key West for example they are "welcoming" ships starting this weekend. Several who live there think it's crazy because so much is still bad but for those who can open they want and need the customers as soon as possible so they can start making money again. Many of these businesses can't wait forever to reopen so if there is any way possible they want tourist to start spending money now. They more money small business make the sooner the islands can recover and they can feed their families.

I hope it's an it thing. Right now it looks like all of the Costa Maya cruises show Nassau instead. It doesn't show up on the cruise planner but if you go to book a new cruise it shows there is a change in itinerary on all of them once you click into it.

I agree we have done both (hump was actually Indy but same thing). The motion was much more on deck 12, plus the wind was very strong it blew my husbands sea pass out of his hand. Strangely enough someone found it and turned it in so it must have blown back on to the ship somewhere. The hump balconies are a great location!

Mine showed up precruise for our Jan 2018 cruise. It did take a while but it was there before we cruised.
