My understanding is it depends on what you define as premium Coffee and Teas.    The Cappuccinos, Late's etc as well as teas are included in both packages (defined as premium as oppose to the swill in the OVC).    What is not covered in the Classic Package is drinks with booze.    Unless something has changed as of late.

The language on the website is very confusing and even contradictory.  Someone today confirmed with Celebrity they are still included in the Classic package.

Whew!  Thank you both for the quick answers!

I answered you on another thread.

Celebrity has NOT changed what is included in the Classic package.

There are plenty of changes to complain about - this isn't one of them.

The  zero alcohol package includes non alcoholic drinks that are included in the Premium beverage package as they have always been.

The people affected by the change are the people who used to book the simple non alcoholic package. That has been eliminated.

Your Classic package includes everything that it always has.

Our new All Included* package comes with a Classic Beverage Package, which allows you to consume an unlimited array of water, beers, cocktails, frozen drinks, and wines by the glass up to $10 per serving. The Classic Beverage Package also comes with a 15% discount on all bottles of wine.

Premium Beverage Packages include all of the options available in Classic Beverage Packages as well as premium coffees, freshly squeezed juices and bottled and canned juices, San Pellegrino, Red Bull, Vitamin Water, Honest Iced Teas, craft and artisan beers, premium liquors, Coca Cola products, premium bottled water, wines by the glass up to $17, and a 20% discount on bottles of wine.

So I’m totally confused. I booked the Classic package (along with internet and gratuities) last July. At that time premium coffees and teas were included in the Classic Package. Is that no longer the case? I only see those listed in the Premium package now.

  3. I was just on the Reflection last month. We were at pier 29. We dropped our bags off at the pier, but it was very crowded and probably took at least 15-20 minutes to do so.  (I’m guessing we were there at prime time around 11:30-12 or so.). We then drove over to the Palm garage just a few blocks away and parked on the 4th level. (Just follow the “P” signs as you exit the pier area.)  We took the elevator down to the first floor to catch a shuttle where they stored our carryons in the back.

If I had it to do over again, I would have gone straight to the Palm garage, parked, taken the elevator to the first floor, and had them load all of my luggage on the shuttle there. That’s what many people were doing. When you get off the shuttle there were porters to collect your bags to have them transferred to the ship.

When we disembarked, we got our luggage and went outside to catch the shuttle back to the garage. The elevators are not large and there were a lot of people trying to get on with their big suitcases. I ended up leaving my friend on the first floor with the luggage while I went up and brought the car down. When you get to the first floor, turn right and there are some spaces going towards the elevators where you can easily park and load your luggage.

I think we paid $15 a day to park.  I don’t know about the suite checkin as we were only in a balcony cabin.

If you add the pass make sure to put your phone on Airplane mode when you leave islands . If you leave the phone on you just might pick up connections from random islands you pass  and get charged $10 (or multiple $10 on a sea day). This might have happened to someone we know.......... 🤣

Way back in the day when I had a Blackberry for work, I had left it off the entire cruise until the last night. I decided to charge it up so that I could check my work emails the next day when we docked. The instant I started charging it, hundreds of messages started downloading.  Thankfully, I guess we were close enough to the coast of Florida that I didn’t incur any charges. But I sweated it out for weeks waiting for the bill to come in and also had to explain to my extremely cost conscious boss what had happened.

Perhaps the cabin questions need to be directed elsewhere. We’re in an inside cabin on deck 10. We don’t get to mingle with the Retreat folks unless they join for excursions. I have no clue how to help with cabin questions.

Tonight’s performance Topper was well done. Great costumes, music and energy with singers, dancers and acrobats. Best so far in our opinion.

Our waiter indicated 200 staff finish their contracts with this cruise!

Pete is the cruise director and has been hilarious. We’re enjoying the little “balcony” area in the back of decks 14/15 (halfway up the stairs). Verizon is still picking up Martinique cell tower and it’s just after 8:30 ship time. We departed at 6pm. Stretching our $10! 🤣

A really stupid question from me - how can you tell that Verizon is picking up the Martinique tower?  I’m going to be on the Equinox in a few weeks for 28 days and also have Verizon. I’m thinking of adding Travel Pass.

Why do you need a large amount of cash?
Have you booked independent tours that require cash?  If so in what currency or will they take a credit card.

We have done trips of  40 days and took 1 cash withdrawal from a ATM paid a $6 fee plus the $1.50 our bank charged. We try and put everything we can on a credit card and the withdrawal was primarily for tips to crew and small incidentals on land.  We had some tours that required cash but would accept USD and we took that with us.
We also split any cash we take between us and some in our purse or wallet and some in each of our carry ons, unlikely new would lose it all.

As you guessed - I have booked independent tours that require cash in USD.

Can guest services cash a check is not a commonly asked question, I be surprised if they did because of the liability of it bounces but do not know for sure

If obtaining cash isn’t an option pre-sailing, ship atm is one option, port atm is another and finally there’s performing a room charge at a slot machine and cashing it out at the cashier

Thanks for the quick response. I’m on a B2B2B for 28 days starting next month and I really didn’t want to have to take a large amount of cash with me, so I guess I’ll have to use the ATM. If I do a room charge at the slot machine and cash it out is there a charge associated with doing that?

  8. I’m on B2B2B cruises on the Equinox in a few months, and I was wondering how online checkin works. I know I need to do the checkin online for the first cruise, but I was wondering if I also need to do it for the second and third cruise.
