Dry Dock ? For The Adventure Of The Sea's

Does anyone know when the AOS is supposed to go in for dry dock...are there any big changes scheduled for this already beautiful ship and will they be adding a chops grill to complement the portofino's restuarant...

Yes - I would like to know this too - hopefully she will have one before I am on July 2008!!

I know that she's supposed to go into drydock this spring for new bedding, carpet, etc. Not sure about anything additional. Maybe someone else knows?

When you say this spring, does that mean 2007, or 2008. I am planing on going in Sept. 07 and wondering if it will be done then?

I heard the bedding is already done on AOS but that was just through posts here. Haven't heard about bedding. I sure do hope they add a CHOPS.

She is not going into drydock this spring for new bedding. It's being done now as people are sailing and is to be completed by this week. Mariner, however IS drydocking soon. AOS is not.

I don't see where AOS is going to Dry Dock, new beds will be nice though.

Well it looks like Serenade of the Seas is going to be dry docked in Feb of next year. People are starting to get notice that their cruises will be cancelled. I am guessing if AOS was planning it, at least within the next year, we would start to hear about it. No Chops for me.:(

i would find it a little bizzarer that rccl would dry dock a ship the size of the ADVENTURE OF THE SEA'S in the midle of the winter...summer yes but not the winter...but what do i know about dry docking a ship for 2 or 3 weeks to make major renovations...

That "new bedding" schedule is way off...we were on AOS 2 weeks ago and the bedding transition was almost complete. Just an FYI.

I sent an email to RCCL to see if they could tell me if/when it is going in for drydock. If I hear back from them, I will post it here.

The new bedding was all I was concerned with anyway. If it's as good as what is on the Freedom class, then I'll be happy. AOS looks pretty good otherwise.

I can tell you that this schedule is off. Serenade went into dry dock Mar 24 - Mar 31 07 and is scheduled again for Feb 2008 (for about 4-weeks).
