Does anyone happen to know if the TVs in the cabins have HDMI ports? If it matters, a regular cabin not a suite...

Yes they do however the screens are so "tight" against the wall it is very hard to get your hands behind the set.

I have a game I want to bring, so I guess I'll bring it and maybe I can plug it in lol

Interested in this also, looking to connect my firestick to back of tv. From searching this forum it seems like this is possible if I disconnect what's in the HDMI port already and also the internet cable to TV.

Is this info correct for the Summit in a regular cabin?

Keep in mind that the answers might be different next year. All staterooms on the Summit will be completely refurbished during its long dry dock in early 2019. I think it's a safe assumption that TVs will be replaced.

Good point but our cruise is this year.

I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents worth here. DH and I traveled in a Summit Sky Suite in May of 2017. I brought a small dvd player and my movies. There was no usable HDMI port in the back of the TV to use. My husband does IT for a living, he thoroughly checked for a usable port. There wasn't one. We even called the IT team on the ship to come look at it and help us if possible. There was no way to hook up the DVD player, though we had been told via a pre-cruise phone call to Celebrity Services that a DVD player wasn't restricted, and we would be able to hook it up to our TV. Alas, that was not the case. We ended up renting Movies on Demand instead. But that was a year and a half ago, I don't know if it's changed since then.

Here’s the trick.

1. Turn off the TV.

2. Unplug the “phone” style data cable from the back of the TV.

3. Plug your device into any HDMI port.

4. Turn on the TV using the front panel controls.

5. Use one of the dots on the left of the panel controls to switch input.

The provided remote won’t work - you have to use the front panel for volume.

To reverse it to normal, turn off the TV, plug in the data cable, turn the TV on again.
