bobber84 Posted November 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2017 My husband are gong on the Carnival Glory in 1 week! In 9 days we will be at Nassau. Looking for options of snorkeling with turtles in Nassau. Had a different excursion booked for months (snorkeling with sharks!) and found out yesterday after calling to clarify the meeting time and place that they have a non-compete clause with Carnival. Carnival has an excursion that would work for us, but they only have 1 spot available (there are 2 of us). Getting stressed trying to find an excursion that will work for us. We are not beach people, but enjoy snorkeling. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
scubagirrl Posted November 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2017 There are no snorkeling tours to see turtles. You may, or maybe not spot one on other tours, but I rarely see one. There are 3 stingray tours. Blackbeards ( Balmoral), Blue Lagoon and Pearl Island . Have you checked all three? There are also may snorkeling tours, just not specifically to see stingrays or turtles. Snorkeling with sharks is done thru Stuart Cove's.
Rare CruisinCrow Posted November 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Sometimes the cruise lines hold back some excursion tickets for people booking onboard. You could try going to the shore excursion desk as soon as you get on the ship to see if they have two spots available for the snorkeling tour. Good luck!
