does your check in time really change what time you get onboard?

im wondering what time the ship in Mobile actually starts to board passengers. i.e. if i have the earliest check in time does that also mean i will board sooner>???

The earlier you check in, the lower the zone number you’ll have.

Order of boarding is Weddings, Diamonds, Platinums, Suites, FTTF, Casino, then zone numbers in order.

Most of the times we've sailed from Mobile, boarding began 11:20-11:45. There is always the possible fog delay or inspection to complicate the process.
