Excursions in in Puntarenas Costa Rica on Coral Princess

We are debating as usual about our shore excursions. We saw a river raft trip on the Corsoni? river. Is this worth while? How rough is it? They kept saying you will get wet.How wet? Also looking a one of the gondola/ overhead tours. How are these?

Any help appreciated.

Loved that river raft excursion....not too rough....great guides, and you will get a bit wet, which is very welcome because it was hot!

I didn’t do either of the excursions you mentioned but our group of 12 did a shore excursion through Thumbs Up Tours, their 10 in 1 Highlights of Puntarenas, when we were there January 28 (also on the Coral) and I highly recommend it. I worked with Kari and she was also our tour guide. Several of us posted reviews on Trip Advisor and on here as well. Have fun regardless of the excursion you choose.

We did a jungle canopy excursion. It was pretty good. The groups before and after ours saw lots of wildlife. We saw almost none but enjoyed it anyway. Afterward they served a pretty good lunch and then there was some stuff to see on the ground. Quite interesting even if we didn't see the canopy wildlife. (The only canopy wildlife we saw as a black squirrel.)

We did the Thumbs Up tour in Puntarenas as well and it included a boat trip up the river, among other things. We enjoyed the entire day and would highly recommend it.
