Royal Caribbean gift card

Hello first time sailing on RCCL. I know how the gift cards work on CCL. But was wondering if RCCL has the same policies.

Example: The gift cards can be used to pay on my cruise, buy a dining package, buy the soda package and etc.

gift cards are applied to your onboard account, therefore they will cover any onboard charges except future cruise deposits. Alternatively, you can have your TA (or RCI if you booked thru them) to apply the gift card to the cost of the cruise.
