St. Thomas and San Juan Excursions

Hi everyone - we're going on the 12/17 Oasis sailing to St. Thomas (originally St. Maarten), San Juan and Labadee. Cruise Critic recently reported an update of St. Thomas and the general status of some of the beaches post-hurricane, but there wasn't a whole lot of detail. I was wondering if anyone has been to either of these cities in recent sailings and if so, are there any recommended excursions, places to avoid, etc? I would hope that RCI would remove excursions or at least post cautionary updates if "what you see isn't necessarily what you'll get) given the current condition of the islands, so I was hoping to head from someone firsthand.
