Robb Posted April 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2010 Are there separate steamroom/sauna facilities for male and female passengers? What is the charge for using the facilities? Thanks so much.
mapsmith Posted April 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2010 Most ships do have separate facilities. However, since I haven't been on all of them (Yet), I can only answer for the Poesia, Opera, and Lirica. All had separate facilities. BUT on the Poesia, both sexes shared a common entrance to the steam and sauna. And there were showers that were visible from said common area. Nothing similar on the Opera or Lirica, sequestered by sex.
AmoMondo Posted April 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2010 Hi Robb You'll need to tell me which ship you are going on and where. For example the Opera had seperate male and female thermal areas but the Fantasia and Sinfonia didn't. Also the thermal area is free on US sailings but not others. Cost varies but can be as much as 16 euros for an hour. they do packages and offers which reduces the cost
Robb Posted April 6, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted April 6, 2010 Thanks for the info guys. We were just thinking about MSC Fantasia.....we have been on 10-12 different cruise lines--some wonderful, some good and others that are NEVER AGAIN. Just exploring other options. Thanks again. I think I have the answer.
