The only bit of 'snobbery' that really bothers me is one who talks down or looks down on the staff. These young people work so hard trying to please the guests. Often they are supporting a family far, far away. I feel I am no better (or no worse) than anyone. Just smile and enjoy your vacation.😊

I am so glad that this thread has taken on a more lighthearted stance. I will be on the lookout for rubber duckies on my Oceania (I pronounce the I) cruises. The only time we had door decorations is when we brought my special needs sister, she was about 65 at the time. It was Valentine's day and I had red hearts on the door for her. She loved it. We would take her on more trips but she has developed severe mobility issues. Looking forward to many more cruises.

The 'elitist' responses also bother me. We have over 85 cruises behind us on 12 different cruise lines. While we do not go for the 'party cruises', we do enjoy a good time. A few rubber duckies lying about will not ruin our cruise. As always, we try to distance ourselves from cruise snobs.😊😁I am sure my happy faces will upset some, but, there it is.

I am sure this has been covered somewhere but cannot find the answer. Do guests booked in a Neptune Suite get any benefits of Club Orange? ie. dining access, etc.? It has been a number of years since we have sailed on HCL, looking forward to our upcoming cruise booked for April 2025. 😊 Thanks so much.

I tried a search and could not find the answer (yes, I am not good at computer stuff). Who will the captain be on the Onward in December? It really does not matter, just curious. I have found all of Azamara's captains (and all the other crew) to be super. 😊

I carried on 6 bottles of liquor (not wine) on our last September 2024) cruise on Riviera and nothing was said. I found the wines to all be acceptable, only once did I not like what was offered and they found me a suitable substitute. I am easy to please when it comes to alcoholic drinks.😁 🍷 😮

My understanding is that it only includes wine with lunch and dinner. Other drinks are for purchase. If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me. There is a happy hour each afternoon that I read about on Oceania's site. 😍 🍷

We eat about any thing........I have never had a dish on O that I did not enjoy, to a certain extent. Never had anything that I thought worthy of sending back. I always order my meats (steak and lamb) medium rare, always done to my taste. Another option for those of you who like 'spicy' Asian dishes you should ask for some Sambal. They will even get it for you at the buffet. The dish that I HAVE had some trouble getting to my likes is Eggs Benedict........I want a nice soft runny egg. This is on all cruise lines we have traveled with, not just O. I have enjoyed reading all the posts. 😊 Looking forward to some good eats on our B2B in September.

Ex-airbalancer............want you to know.....I have filed suit, my lawyer is Rudy Giuliani. Rudy explained that I would be afforded the same treatment as one of his more famous clients. 🤪 😎 🥸 Seriously, we will continue to play trivia when it is offered, prize or no prize. It was just a surprize to us. Playing trivia helps you learn, whether you win or not. Same reason I work 2-3 crossword puzzles a day and read at least two books a week. We do pretty good at answering Jeopardy questions. You are never too old to leaarn. Some people go to the casino a lot, sit in a bar all day and night drinking or baking themselves in the sun. Do what you like. And remember 'pride' goeth before the fall. No need to stir the pot.

We did have one trivia game on that cruise with a prize, but it was in Michael's Club and 1st and 2nd place won bottles of wine. Surprizingly, we won. 😁 🍷

On our last cruise with Celebrity (on the Eclipse, July 2-9, 2023) no prizes were awarded for trivia games winners. Your award was merely a lackluster round of applause. Has anyone else experienced this? 😮 Thanks so much
