We are landing at JFK on the 31st of Jan and was looking for the best way to get to Times Square or any company for transfers you would recommend. And also vice versa when we disembark at Manhattan terminal

What time do you arrive at JFK?

Let me just copy a reply on another thread that I just posted. (moderator, I promise not to post this all over the place) We typically visit NY once a year and recently have been combining this with crossings, so we're very familiar with transportation between the airport (for us, EWR or JFK) Midtown Manhattan hotels and the piers (for us, most recently Red Hook, Brooklyn)

My general advice on trips to/from the airport or piers is to take a car service. They are price competitive with taxis and Lyft/Uber and generally much more knowledgeable than the ride sharing solutions.

If you google, you'll easily find discount codes for both

From JFK, I'd take a yellow cab from the official dispatch line. The fare is set at $52.80; expect to pay $70 with toll and tip. I find it much easier than trying to find one black car service vehicle from among the many driving around the airport.
