Gem for the holiday ?

hi we are thinking of booking this cruise but curious what goes on for Christmas and NYE?

Do they have any special events to make it special for the kids?

We have never sailed the Gem what shows do they have?

Hi, we are considering the 11 night Gem for Christmas and NYE as well. We have a 9 year old girl. Worried that there won't be a lot of kids on the longer sailing.

My guesstimation is about 600 passengers under the age of 18. Many cabins at full 3rd and 4th capacity .

we were on Gem last year for NYE. it was incredible! they served a special dinner in the MDR, and there were parties all over the ship that night. even teh Captain came and partied in Bliss! Due to the time change, we celebrated midnight ships time, then an hour later we celebrated wtih NYC. best cruise ever!!!!!!!
