Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Dawn berthed next to each other today

With the Gem replacing the Dawn in Boston for 2019, today is a unique opportunity to see them berthed next to each other. This is due to the Dawn's Florence revised itinerary. They're in St. John, NB until the Gem leaves first at 4pm.

Actually they are in St. John's, Newfoundland, not St. John, New Brunswick. Big difference...

Really was surprised to see it said Newfoundland. Never been there, but from what I have heard, there isn't much to do there.

My plane from Spain was grounded in gander Newfoundland. Don't recall why as it was back in 1979.

I still get eerie feeling about that airport as it was unusual to me

I hear the people there a very hospitable though

Odd timing of this post.

Yesterday was the anniversary of MANY planes being grounded in Gander (alliteration unintended) after the attacks in 2001.

That was a *lot* of extra people in Gander...

And yes, they were apparently very hospitable.
