Day Trip for people who don’t love group excursions

Hello! My family and I are looking at doing another cruise this spring. We typically enjoy vacationing on a beach in a condo, we walk everywhere, love trying local restaurants, shops, etc. We love the beach, laze around at a beach restaurant with loungers, etc.

We’ve done a couple group excursions and they’re just not our thing. We enjoy flexibility, doing things on our own timeframe.

Our kids are 12 and 7. Any recommendations on some DIY, fun activities that might fit the bill?

What ship are you on?

If a Carnival affiliated line, you'll dock at Mahogany Bay and have an option of a beach right at port.

If NCL, RCCL, Celebrity, etc. you dock at Coxen Hole. Easy to catch a taxi to West bay and I believe there's now a chair lift to a new near by beach place.

Or you can contact Victor Bodden or Rony's Tours (lots of reviews in posts here) and schedule an island tour for just your group.
