Longstockingpippi1 Posted March 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Searching for a NCL staterooms after a few months hiatus. I'm noticing quite a few HC stateooms available for all to reserve no questions asked. These cruises are 6 mths +out. When did NCL change their policy about how they handle the HC booking process? I'm noticing quite a few HC stateooms available for all to reserve no questions asked. These cruises are 6 mths +out. When did NCL change their policy about how they handle the HC booking process? NCL has not changed it's policy. Any mock booking I did NCL's website states : If you have a mobility or other disability and need an accessible stateroom, please call us at 1-866-584-9756 to book your cruise reservation. What website are you checking ?
Longstockingpippi1 Posted March 19, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2018 NCL's website. I ended up calling and was told they hadn't changed their policy. I asked them why accessible staterooms were available to book online 8 mths out and they said it must be an error.
mexico8 Posted March 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2018 We booked two back to back cruises for May and there were no accessible staterooms available. In order to get on the list for a cancellation I had to complete a questionnaire and sent it in to NCL (which I did). I am hoping to get an accessible cabin but if not, I did put in a bid for a larger cabin. Hope I win the bid or I will have to sleep with my scooter!! I won't have the other "perks" of a an accessible cabin but at least I will have a little room to walk around.

mexico8 Posted March 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I just managed to get a HC cabin for a May sailing. But I had to call. None were showing on their site. Thanks for posting. I will call NCL in case they do have one and just forgot about me. I might get lucky like you. If I don't have an HC cabin then maybe I will win my bid and get upgraded. Hoping for one or the other.
