pfrechen Posted July 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2017 I am planning on visiting Antarctica in Dec 2018/Jan 2019. The OAT trip interests me, but the ship, M/V Corinthian, is not a dedicated polar ship. It is ice strengthened; it cruises both Antarctica and the Mediterranean. Does anyone have advice on cruising Antarctica on such a ship? Has anyone taken the OAT trip to Antarctica, and if so, how was it?
satie37 Posted July 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2017 There is a helpful site called http://www.traveltothepoles.com where they explain the differences between ships and provide the rating for each. Sent from my iPad using Forums
