Accessories for kids

My daughter will be 12.5 for her first cruise. I plan on getting her cell service so we can text. I know she will get a room card that she will need to carry. What do you recommend she use to carry her phone and card? I’d like to know from people who have traveled with tweens.

My tween and now teen carried a little Le sport sac cross body. She used the iconcierge app on her iPod and we texted with that, worked great. And only cost us $20 for 11 days ($10 per device). She also had a lanyard for her room card.
