Silver Shadow on January 6th

My husband and I are taking our first SS cruise from San Diego on the 6th. Can someone who has been down the coast of Mexico at this time of year give me an idea of the temperature? Everytime I believe the Weather Channel I pack the wrong stuff!

We returned today on Shadow. High temps were around 80-85 degrees and very pleasant. We were in the area last January and it was about the same but perhaps a little more humid. Cabo was a bit cooler and remember on the ride down the coast, it will be cool for the first day or so.
