What time of year were you there? We've been in April and September and the water was crystal clear both times. I'd definitely give it another try! Thanks for reading.

I think it was April but my DH said there may have been a storm at that time that caused the brown water. The next time I head to Cozumel, I'll definitely check it out again. Have a great rest of your cruise!

What a great review! Thank you so much for sharing with us.

We are also doing the Harmony (in October), and have also signed up for the 3 dinner package (starting on the second night).

If I may ask, how easy was it to get the specific restaurants you wanted on the day and time you desired? Where and when did you make the reservations? We also want to do Jamie’s Italian, Wonderland, and 150 Central Park.

Finally, was there any extra cover charge or premium you had to pay for Wonderland or 150?

Thank you very much!!

After boarding we walked down the Promenade, checked out the boardwalk, and then headed up to Central Park. I had decided to make all of our reservations at 150 Central Park since that's where we would be celebrating our anniversary, but we could have done it at any of the restaurants. They were just opening when we got there. We didn't have any problems getting the nights we wanted, but we had to compromise a bit on the times. I was hoping for 7:00/7:30 for each of them, but we could only get 6:30. I'm not sure why, exactly, as the restaurants never seemed crowded when we arrived. Maybe they wanted to leave some availability for walk-ins?

There was no extra charge for either 150 CP or Wonderland. My understanding is that only Chef's Table and Izumi Hibachi are excluded from the packages.

Enjoy your cruise!

Your pictures have help me make my decision to stay onboard in Jamaica when I visit.

We toyed with the idea of spending the day at an all-inclusive resort, but we figured we might as well stay onboard and get the most out of our drink packages! We had no regrets. It was a super relaxed day on the ship.

Good looking couple! Following as we will be on Harmony in February. Great review .

Thank you! I hope you have a great cruise. Harmony is a fantastic ship!

Moving right along to entertainment...

SHOWS

We saw most of the "big" shows over the course of the week. Here's a quick summary:

The Fine Line - I had scheduled this show for night 1, but it was canceled at the last moment because there was lightning in the area. The show was rescheduled for night 4, but we ended up going stand by on night 2 (which was fine except we ended up one row behind the splash zone and got pretty wet). DH and I both really enjoyed the show -- enough that we went again on night 4! I understand what others have said about the lack of diving, but the energy and athleticism of the cast were amazing. We were thoroughly entertained. There has also been discussion here recently about the guy who spins for 10 minutes before the show starts. I thought he was kind of cool, but his performance went on for far too long. At one point he stopped and everyone applauded... but then he went on for another few minutes.

Grease - We were supposed to see Grease on night 2 at 10:30, but we didn't make it. I don't know what I was thinking scheduling it for that time. DH and I are just not night owls. We finally ended up seeing the matinee performance on the last sea day. I tried to book it ahead of time using one of the tablets outside the theater, but I wasn't able to do that since I had already booked a different performance. We ended up going standby and were still able to get decent seats. We enjoyed the show, but we both thought Mama Mia on Allure was better.

1887: A Journey in Time - We enjoyed this show, although the storyline was odd. The skaters were very impressive.

Columbus... The Musical - Ugh. Hated this one. It started out okay but quickly went downhill. We stuck it out until the end, but I want that hour of my life back.

Hideaway Heist - We tried to see this one on our second sea day. Unfortunately, we didn't get there early enough to get seats in the shade. About 10 minutes into the show, we both felt like we were going to have heat strokes, so we left. Apparently it's a great show, so I'm sorry we missed it!

Standup Comedy Show - This was the first time we've ever been to a comedy show on a cruise. We actually liked the opening guy better than the headliner, although we thought both of them were just so-so. Still glad we went though!

OTHER ENTERTAINMENT

Live Music - I love the live music that can be heard all over the ship. I know we didn't catch it all, but we did enjoy it on the pool deck (a fun Caribbean band called "Hott Sands"), on the Promenade, in Central Park (a guitar player and a piano player), and at the Schooner Bar. We never made it to Dazzles or to Boleros when they had live music.

Casino - We only went to the casino once, and only briefly, to use our C&A free play for the slot machines. We were both big winners...

We didn't make it to any parades, gameshows, trivia, or tastings.

Next up, comparing the suite and non-suite experiences, followed by final thoughts.
