white space on elation main deck

I'm looking at cabins M182-8 on Elation Deck map shows white space in interior across from them. Anyone know what is there? Storage, laundry etc?

There will likely be some linen lockers where the stewards' carts are kept, some cabin steward pantries (glass washers and ice machines), but in that location, the majority of that space will be the machinery space "fidley" where the engine and boiler exhausts go up to the funnel, and ductwork takes fresh air down to the engine room.

I had one of those dead spaces above my room on the Freedom. It was silent except for the last night when whatever mechanical equipment was in there malfunctioned in the middle of the night. Took hours for maintenance to fix it, and there was a loud slamming banging noise for 4+ hours. Other than that it was fine, but I'm personally not going to book near one of those spaces again. Even people across the hall heard it.
