Deckhawk Posted December 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2009 Hi Everyone - Anyone know how the lines of credit work with CCL? Any advantage to taking out a 5K line compared to signing 1K/day......aside from the % fee, which they sometimes will wave if they see you are a serious player... Deckhawk....Fill out the application available on the Casino Royale web-site...mininum $5K credit line. When approved you present a blank personal check to the casino cashier which activates your credit line. You can then take "markers" at the tables or the cashiers cage to the extent of your approved credit line with no fees. You settle your account with the check on file on the last night of the cruise. Good Luck.

cb at sea Posted December 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2009 If you're planning on taking 5K...do it all at once....casinos love it when you're willing to lose large sums....you're likely to get more perks just for being willing to lose that much...as opposed to it taking them 3 or 4 days to find out how much you're willing to gamble..... harcin Posted December 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 11, 2009 Casinos have no interest in a short term drop of cash. The casino is looking for length of time played and average bet. They could care less if you take a $5000.00 single marker or five $1000.00 markers. The house advantage over time is what they are interested in. Comps are calculated by multiplying average bet times the house advantage in a particular game. You are then given back a percentage of your theoretical loss in the form of comps. Someone who places a few large wagers will not get the same level of comps as a player who sits (or stands) over a longer period of time.
jetwet1 Posted December 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 11, 2009 What Harcin said, buying in for a large sum proves nothing to a casino, except that you like to buy in for large amounts.

Yo...you are right, CCL might also be Celebrity Cruise lines but I have used credit lines on all and they follow the same personal check guidelines. The benefit of a credit line is 1) not having to carry a lot of cash 2) avoid fees charged on the "Sea Pass" cards. You also have a much better chance of getting in to the top secret (LOL) Club Royale on RCL
