Weather on TA Galveston to Barcelona in May

Weather should probably be pretty good during the crossing. Since you're going from Galveston to Barcelona, you're on a more southerly route that wouldn't be as cool as, say, a crossing from NY to Southampton.

I'd expect it to be cooler overall - if only because the ship is moving and you're at sea - during the crossing.

As always though, weather can be unpredictable and change at the drop of a hat!

My DH and I did the trans-atlantic crossing from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona last May and had great weather and calm seas. We were pleasantly surprised and it made us want to do the same cruise every spring. Have a great trip and bring an umbrella with you for when you get on shore. Hopefully you won't need it but it is a lot less expensive than buying one from the vendors that rush the bus. Also some large ziplock bags to hold port maps.
