What to wear under Northstar Trekking gear in Juneau

My husband and I are doing the 2-hour Helicopter Glacier Trek through Northstar this June. What should we choose to wear that day? I understand they provide trekking pants, jacket, boots, etc. Would jeans be appropriate or uncomfortable under the rain-proof pants they provide? Should I stick with leggings or workout attire? Thanks for any suggestions.

So we wore jeans and hoodies under our gear. You're going to want something more than leggings for sure. We were there in July and we had amazing weather when we got up on the glacier. Clear, blue skies, and lots of sunshine. But it was still pretty darn cold.

This is what the gear looks like, over our jeans and sweatshirts.

Thank you so much for your response. Jeans, t-shirt and a sweatshirt it is!

We did a glacier hike near Anchorage and were surprised at how warm we got. I kept peeling off layers until I was down to my short sleeve bottom layer. That was an overcast day in late August. I was glad to be able to carry my backpack. My suggestion is layers that wou can easily carry should you get warm
