pre cruise hotel

We want to stay at a luxury hotel for 2 nights before our cruise. Thinking about the St Regis Bal Harbor. I would consider something further south, even south beach, but we are in our 70's and dont want "funky". any suggestions?

If we don't stay at the Intercontinental, which has an extraordinary view of the Oceania dock on Dodge Island, we stay at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove.
