Ports of Call: Private Islands Only

Departures from Florida.....

Are there any private island ONLY itineraries? For safety reasons, Nassau & Freeport itineraries are ruled out. I don't want to waste a travel day staying on the ship just to avoid the scene at Nassau.

I would happily cruise to a safe port like Key West. A 3 night cruise to 2 private islands would be perfect. Even a 2 night, 1 private island would be nice. Again, safety is an issue & certain island stops rules out that entire cruise.

I have not found Nassau unsafe in multiple visits over the last 30 years. Unless you are wandering down alleys and side streets alone, flashing lots of cash / jewelry / electronics, you should be fine.

If you are that concerned, look at Blue Lagoon Island or a catamaran sail. I believe both usually leave and return directly from the cruise docks.

The other option is to find an itinerary that includes Grand Cayman, Key West and a private island.
