Gatwick to Montego Bay flights

Having been on several cruises with Thomson, and Marella from Barbados I am wondering is the same system used in Jamaica as in Barbados in that your baggage is taken at Gatwick and is next seen outside your cabin.

Yes luggage is also bonded to Jamaica so the same system works.

You do have to go through immigration which is a little different to getting on the coach at the bottom of the steps off the plane. It can take a bit of extra time, but not to bad.
