strelizia Posted August 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2018 I am just wondering how you are charged for onboard spending? Do you give them your credit card at check in? And then they just charge everything to it such as drinks, tips etc?

Parsman Posted August 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Yes. On the final morning you get the bill. Unless you have any queries on it there is no need to contact reception. On longer cruise you may get an interim statement. You can trace your spending on your cabin's inter-active TV.
WeeCountyMan Posted August 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2018 This is standard operating procedure on all cruise lines. You can register a credit or debit card. If the latter, you obviously have to have enough funds in the account to cover the final balance, that's why the former is a better option. If you've pre-purchased the drinks package it's unlikely you'll run up a "how much ?" unwelcome surprise bill, unless you've elected for ship organised excursions.
