Whale Tail Cup Use?

Anybody else do this?

I have a whale tail cup from my last Carnival cruise and am using it to save up change every day until I leave for my next Carnival cruise in March just for spending money in the ports.

We'll see how much change I can save up over the next 8 months.

We put all of our change in a kentwood water jug. The very big one that goes in a stand. We always have about $400-$500 for spending just off change!! Can't beat that!! When I get really excited about going on my upcoming cruise I make my own DOD in my whale tail cup and say ahhh.....only XX days left till I am on the ship!!

We're putting our change into our whale tale cup to use in the casino and possibly the ports if we can save up enough change. My only problem is I always forget to take out cash to use while shopping in order to get change to save. I'm always using my debit card. You'd think I'd remember to get cash out since I work in a bank, but no I always forget.

What is a whale tail cup and where do you get it?

It's in the picture I posted. It looks like the funnel and they offer it on Carnival ships as one of the drinks of the day.

That's a good idea! My cup has been in the top cupboard, taking up valuable space, for over a year.

We had DODs once or more a day, but never saw those mugs anywhere. I would have liked one too. Which day did they have them? We were on a 7 day cruise.

I don't remember what day, but you can ask for one at any time, they have plenty. The only one I don't like is the monkey, it scares me! LOL

This is what DH did with ours this past weekend!

I LOVE it!:)

You've inspired me to take ours out of the kitchen cabinet (where it sits, never getting used because it is too annoying to wash) and put it with the beach toys. My DH and DDs and I will love building some sandships with it.

Thanks for the great idea!
